June 2011 Check-In!

We are going to DL June 6-9 with a visit to the San Diego Zoo before and Universal Studios Hollywood on the 8th. We're staying at the Homewood Suites.

I saw that Blue Bayou & PotC, plus Francis Lady Bug Boogie are scheduled for rehab until the 9th and Small World & Donald's Boat will be closing on the 9th. Bummer! Here's the link, would love to find out it's wrong...

Oh boy... I am very surprised to see June Rehabs... I thought it was supposed to be high season and therefore everything running

I don't see the DLR ride closures for June. I see MK though. Where'd you see that Smile4stamps? Help!

Also, the hours don't make sense. It says 9-9 and Magic Morning at 10 for May 30 and 31.

I quoted that from MiceFan from above... It can't be MK in WDW though as they don't have a Blue Bayou...

I'm still hoping the schedule is wrong, and it very well could be because it has them down for rehab for the week and then they aren't listed for rehab for a few days, then back on the rehab schedule. It seems weird that they would be down, up, and then down again.
Just putting it out there so if someone knows for sure, they can let us know and it can be added to the original post.

We had to change our dates.. June 12 (DD's bday the one below with my ticker will be 4)- June 17

We'll be there June 6-9th. ATM I have us booked at Anaheim Plaza, but that could change.

I'm bringing my girls and 2 first timers. I'm going to be soooo bummed if POTC is closed. It's our family tradition to ride that first. It would be a real shame for them to miss it too. Now Frances' Lady Bug Boogie.. ehh, no biggie.

Please tell me that link is wrong. It says Friday June 24th Disneyland closes at 5:00. That will ruin our trip completely!

I believe that is correct--Disneyland closes at 5:00 on June 24th for grad night celebrations.

I actually looked into that before booking. The last grad night is June 16th. It was June 24th in 2010. I hope there has been no changes. If anyone knows can you please confirm

The last Grad Nite is June 16th. We are planning to eat at Rainforest Cafe that nite.

What makes you think that it is closing at 5pm on June 24th this year? The DL calendar does not go that far out.


I'm guessing you got this from somewhere that is basing a calendar off historical data.

Then it is just like what I said, that calendar is providing those hours based on what happened last year. So if last year that was a grad night making the hours short, and this year isn't a grad night, don't expect the same hours.
