For those of you that are planning a June 2008...let's count down together! I am planning a trip June 3 through the 11. I am anxious for the rates to come out for 2008. And even more excited to be able to make my reservation online! Come on board as we count down the days until we are at the most magical place on earth!

I am waiting too my dates are july 6 - july 14 ??? that is if this grandgatherings take place. If not it will be me and my crew doing disney.

We are going in June 2008. I'm thinking the 3rd week right now. There is going to be a bunch of us in my dh's family going. I'm so excited and with it was sooner. I'm so ready to count down with everyone. I'm in the process of trying to get things organized with everyone to pick an exact date.

Airfare??? We fly Southwest...it takes them some time to get that information up and running. For us planning a Disney trip is a lesson in patience!

I tried looking for airfare and no such luck. Not sure why I'm looking though since I don't know the exact dates yet...I sent out an email to help pin point some dates and nobody wrote me back yet. I may just make a reservation for us and let the others fend for themselves.

We will be getting there the day you leave! The dates we are planning on right now are June 11-19. We will be there for DD's 16th birthday. This is the farthest in advance I have ever planned a trip.

Where are you planning on staying? We are either doing a split stay (Pop/WL) or WL for the entire trip. I think I'm going to book WL and if I have problems getting it paid off, I'll move down to the split stay.

This is my first post! We will be at WDW the first week in June, my son's third birthday is June 4th. What do you guys recomend as a good day to arrive and leave, we are planning on staying a week at Wilderness Lodge.

We will also be going in June 2008. We are thinking of Saturday June 14 until June 25th or so. We want to spend 2-3 nights at the Nick Hotel and 2-3 nights at the Contemporary and then the rest of the time at Boardwalk or Yacht Club. There will be 8 of us going, so we will have to get 2 rooms everywhere we go. We want to get the DDP, too.

Question: When can I reserve my rooms? ie, when do the rates for 2008 come out? And how soon in advance can you book rooms?

I just called this last weekend to reserve some rooms for our group of 14. We were going to stay at the asmu suites but you can not book those rooms until the packages come out sometime this summer hopefully. So I guess we will be making a rush to get these rooms at that time or just have to get more standard rooms.

We'll be there May 2008. I've gotta figure out the counter thing, because y'alls all look so cool! Me, DH, DD12, DS8, DD4, DS2 (ages as of May 2008), and my Mom coming to help!

I thought I was planning waay in advance, because the last couple of trips I put together just a few months before. But the more I read, the more I'm thinking I might already be behind the curve

I am having big time sticker shock now that we'll need two rooms Any thoughts on Fort Wilderness? I've read that their transportation system is pretty frustrating. That could be problematic if it's really that bad, because I anticipate Nana & our youngest needing to come back to homebase for naps, and I'd hate for them to lose so much time in the process.

Since we can't afford a Disney trip this year, I am getting my Disney fix by planning a trip for next summer. We want to go in July, but I'll post here since there is no July 08 thread!

I can't wait to be able to book online, this will be the first year we are booking for far in advance but it gives us time to make payments and such. Plus since we aren't going this year, next year we'll be able to stay longer and at a delux.

Here's hoping the whole family can decide upon a travel time without to much trouble.

We are planning a 10 day trip leaving 6/18-6/29.

We are putting off this years vacation because of a change in my husband's job. We have been planning for 3 months already and now all I need is my reservations. We have already planned out what we want to do at each park we are just going to have to wait for EMH to be released so we can work around that!!!


We are traveling with 8 people and 3 of them have never been to Disney before.
