hi -we normally go to wdw in october - but this past's trip was short and we want to go agian - since we took the kids out of school already we're looking to go in mid-june when school is out - i know that the rates are more - but how is the heat - is it extremely hot or is it bearable - thanks in advance

We have went twice in June and yes it was hot but we felt it was bearable. We just bring water bottles with us into the park and fill them up while we are there. The one thing we found is we don't spend as much on food because with it being so hot you really don't feel like eating as much. There are enough places around the park where you can get inside and cool off when you need to.

We generally go in mid-June and will go again this year. It is hot but we did weekend trip in Sept. 06 and I thought the humidity was worse than in June.

June is peak season so you'll want a good touring plan - Unofficial Guide, www.tourguidemike.com, or www.buildabettermousetrip are good choices.

We did our "sit-down" meal at lunch because it was good to sit down in the Air Conditioning for awhile.

We also tend to plan some of the longer indoor shows (festival of the Lion King, Ellen's Energy Adventure, etc.) for the heat of the day.

As a Floridian for the past 33 years, I have to admit that it is ALWAYS hot here, IMO. There are about 50 days a year that I dont sweat. My dd will be out of school May 30, so on the 31, we will start our vaca :woohoo:
