Hi everybody....just like you, I have a June trip planned to WDW.
But, once again I am worried about getting an AP discount because last summer most of June was skipped. I wound up having to use AAA's discount.
I was very disappointed, and I'm worried that this is what is happening again.

We will be there in June. Hoping for some kind of discount. We don't have AAA, but would get it if it would be worth it for a discount. If you do AAA, can you book it yourself??

Yes. When you call WDW to make a reservation, let them know you are looking for a AAA rate. They won't ask for any information over the phone, but they will tell you that you'll need to show your AAA membership card when you check in. I've received the AAA discount (of which I am a member)but have never been asked for the card upon check in. Good luck! I'm booked for a trip from 6/6 to 6/10 and am anxiously awaiting some type of code, as the AAA rate wasn't available for our stay.

They've asked for my AAA also. I always book far in advance and only buy AAA for the room discount, so I wasn't currently a member. I told them I'd have to call back with it and there was no problem. Once I even called back to give the number and the CM said to not bother, they'd just get it at check-in.

I just booked Port Orleans Riverside for 6/1 thru 6/8 and received a AAA DISCOUNTED rate of 148/nite. I was definitely hoping for a code. I can see many late nights hunting for a better deal;esp since I paid less at Animal Kingdom Lodge last year. They you can't dwell on the past & I am happy I received the AAA.

I called today and asked for AAA rates. She gave me the rates. Then I told the CM that I wasn't currently a member. She told me the new rule was that you had to have a AAA # just to make a ressie.
