I know this comes a little late, my trip was in June. But better late than never! I spent the entire winter on this web site finding out tips and details from others, and it really paid off!
Our trip was on June 15th thru June 22nd, we stayed at Old Key West. This was our first time as Vacation Club Members. The resort was beautiful, we stayed in a delux studio and it was awesome! We stayed in building 24, which was a short walk to the Hospitality House and pool area. I would request to stay in this buliding on my next trip.We were a party of 3 people and it was pleanty of room for all of us, and would have even been comfortable in there was another person. I can not rave enough about this resort, it was a great stay! We mainly used bus transportation. Once you have the timing down and the scheduals, it was fine! We visited all of the theme parks. The Magic Kingdom was as lovely as always. Dinner at the Castle was great. The evening fireworks were magical, my favorite being Tinkerbelle's flight from the top of the castle! Another night we had dinner at The Liberty Tree Tavern. Very nice, family style which was good, and the charactors walking around made it alot of fun!
Epcot is as amazing as ever! For all of you out there who have not seen the fireworks show,"Illumations:Reflections of Earth", you don't know what you are missing! It was beyond words! We went 3 times to watch this show! Disney has truly out done themselves with this production! It is a must see! The boat ride in Norway was fun. Japan is a favorite also. We had dinner in Italy, which was delicious! And the atmosphere was entertaining! Ellen's Energy Adventure was fun, as was the Space Ship Earth Ride. Test Track was alot of fun too. We left an Image at Leave a Legacy. A few weeks after our trip we received it in the mail. It's nice to think a part of you is in Disney all year long! Epcot is our favorite park. There is just so much to do and see!
MGM was a thrill ride adventure! We rode The Rock'n'Rollercoaster over and over again! It was the BEST! The Tower of Terror was another ride we did over and over again! It was great, we loved the Twilight Zone theme. When you are on this ride, it is amazing to think of what went in to creating this attraction! And a not to be missed attraction is the new "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" show! I would recomend a fast pass! It was 100% like the TV show, and everyone has a chance to get in the hot seat, and the audiance gets to play along!
Dinner at the Brown Derby was great, and the Fantasmic show was spectacular!
This was the first time we went to Animal Kingdom, and I will most likley not go there again! Sorry to say we did just not enjoy it! Maybe it was just a bad day, but I just don't think I'd go back. That is just my opinion.
Typhoon Lagoon was a great way to spend a hot day! The wave pool was such fun! Blizzard Beach was the coolest! We had the best time! Teamboat Springs was a fun family raft ride!
Pleasure Island is a MUST for all adults! What a fun evening we had! Send the kids to Disney Quest with a babysitter and have fun!
I have so much more I could say, but I could go on forever! Disney is just the best place in the world! We love Disney! The weather was a little hot, but you don't seem to mind! We had a nightly rain, rain gere came in handy! But it was over as quickly as it started! Disney staff was a friendly as always! The entire trip was a pleasure! Except the flight delay on the way home! Always check your flight before you go to the airport!

it seems like you did alot in your week there......We too love Test Track and most of Epcot.......my favorite park.......thanks again for the report

We are going the exact same week next summer and I was wondering what you thought of the crowds.

Thanks for your report. Sounds like yall had a great time. Florida definately has its afternoon thunderstorms and its always wise to be prepared. Animal Kingdom is last on my list but there are a few things that I enjoy there, like Kali River Rapids. On the trips that we do go, our family only spends half a day.

I love Old Key West--you can really forget about the rest of the world there!
