June 1st question

My DD and I are flying into MCO on Friday June 1 and heading to Port for a disney cruise on Saturday June 2nd. Our plane arrives at 11:15 a.m. I was toying with the idea of renting a car (we are staying at the Hyatt MCO that night) and going to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure for the afternoon evening. We have never been. We always go to WDW. How crowded do you think it would be and would we spend most of our time in lines and not enjoying the park as much?

Even though you're arriving late morning, it will probably be around 2pm before you can make it over to the park. IOA is open until 9pm that day so you'll have a good seven hours...which should be enough time for the one park. I would guess by 6pm or so, people who've been there since opening will start leaving which should help the wait times for you. That's only a guess though.
