I keep trying to put a ticker on my profile, I went into "about me", tried to put it under interest..that didn't work, so I went into "profile" where you put your birthdate etc. and I pasted the URL in the box that said "paste a URL here"..that didn't work. What am I doing WRONG??????

KerryAnn,

First, copy the ticker language that starts with "pseudo...". That's the ticker code that works for me...and hopefully it's the same one you should use.

Second, try to "edit signature" and copy your ticker language in there. Test it out and see if it works.

We've booked ours...for the Nassau stop on the first cruise, we're doing the Catamaran & Reef Snorkeling expedition. For the second stop in Nassau, the Fort/Junkanoo excursion.

No spa or Palo for me/us. DS will be 18 on the Alaska trip next June, so we'll definitely be booking Palo then.

Career changes can be odd- I quit my job at a law firm back in August to become a nanny. I know- seems like short changing my talents, but my kids needed me more!

I hear you about being MIA- I have a feeling the next few weeks I'm going to be MIA myself more- my son is in the process of getting a formal diagnosis of Aspergers (a form of high functioning autism). It's long coming, and I'm glad to have answers but still rough.

I can't wait for April 3rd at 9 pm and we can book our excursions- I'm excited!

The cruise will be here before we know it! And our FE info looks great.

Awesome - thanks for confirming, Jess. I'm impressed that you chose to make the right decision for your kids and yourself rather than being driven by society's direction. I'm in a similar situation. I realized that my job (Advertising Supervisor on casino and luxury accounts) was actually doing little to nothing to help people. So I left to pursue some work in a non-profit situation and to eventually start my own travel business...
Interestingly enough a portion of the travel business came first due to some amazing circumstances. I'm now a travel agent! I'm so thrilled to share my love and knowledge of travel with friends and family...and now I get paid for it! I still have some bigger plans, but one step at a time, right?

Anyway, I can't wait for us to get to meet each other on the ship. So far this is a very small group, so we should be in really good shape for the FE exchange.

I am not sure if I am going to book any excursions until we get on the ship and see what the weather holds for us. I am pretty sure that we will just poke around Nassau a bit unless someone has a "can't miss it" kind of excursion with a reasonable price as we are doing WDW after and will need to have some cash left! Planning on the 5k, biking and snorkeling at CC. I do want to book Palo for a dinner, but as a first time cruiser, I have to wait. Save me a spot!

I'm not sure of Nassau - I still need to do my research on the port - but my wife tells me that the Atlantis Resort there has some great stuff for families - waterslides, aquarium, pools, beach. I believe you can pay a fee to use it all.

Definitely don't miss Palo - phenomenal experience.

I've read several interesting threads about Atlantis, Jeremy. If you book through DCL it's quite pricey. Apparently the way to go is to book a room through Comfort Suites (I think that's the hotel) for way less and 4 passes (armbands) come with it. You check into the room and check out at the same time, if you want...walk over to Atlantis, present your hotel card and the passes are all inclusive. Something to look into if you are going there.

The last quarter of school is going to go soooo slow! Teaching 2nd graders will make me thoroughly appreciate my vacation.
