I am not sure on the floats but I would assume you could bring your own. I know you can bring your own sand toys which we plan to do.

I feel like checking in has made the cruise seem more real! Anyone doing anything special to count down? We did movie nights and themed dinners in our countdown to WDW last year but havent for this... we have so much going on, I just havent managed and the kids keep asking. I may have to come up with something for the last month or two!

We usually make a paper chain and the kids rip one off each day so they can physically see how many days are left since they are too young to know what 2 months/1 month mean.

avarysmommie, I just read on the DCL, under FAQ the following question and answer reageding floats;

What items are not permitted on board?

•Kites, balloons, surfboards, wave boards, inflatable floats/pools (including pool noodles), and wagons

Wow I dropped off the face of the earth for awhile. We are a family of three. I am Janelle, my husband Dan of 10 years and my daughter Alyssa who will turn 6 right before we leave for Florida. We are still interested in fish extenders and I have one made but we are on the concierge level and i am unsure how that will work. I also am planning to do the 5k! I was just looking into Atlantis but it is SO expensive. Might just hang out on the quiet ship that day. What are you all thinking?

Janelle, post a question on the main board about if us non concierge folks can get to you for the fish extenders. If so shoot me an email with your info at tln1@mchsi.cm You can look back in the thread for the info we need.

Anyone else want to do fish extender? We are hoping to close the list within the week so we can work on ideas! We have 5 families signed up so far. We would love to have you!! PM me or email and I will add you. Again we are almost 2 months out and want to close the list probably within the week.

As for Nassau we bought day passes to the hilton and plan to get off for several hours to enjoy the beach and pool there. Since our youngest can't go in the pools on board and it sounds like they are crazy anyway we decided another day able to swim would be good!

Yellow tulips- pirate night has a special menu and a deck party and fireworks. I guess lots of people dress up too. As for the 5K all I know is its held early on the castaway cay day. And welcome to the group!

1. Enter the area if the door is open since they supposedly don't check key cards
2. Knock on the door and give to a CM to deliver
3. Give to guest services to deliver

I looked at some of the other cruise threads and it looks like they cut their list off at 45 days out. Are you guys ok with doing that? Deadline of 45 days(which is about May 1) out or 10 families. We are at six families right now. Hopefully if we wait just a little longer we will have another family or two jump in. If not, we will have fun with our small group, right? If you all would rather close it off now, just let me know. I havent finalized any plans yet so I am ok with waiting a couple more weeks.

How is everyone doing? All is well here. My oldest had her final dance competition of the season last weekend so that is now behind us. Its fun but busy! I work weekends so it is always challenging to switch things around so I can get her to them. This week I get to go in and help her 5th grade class dissect pig hearts. Should be fun!

Where is everyone? This thread has been so quiet! IS anyone else getting as excited as we are? It seems like we have so much packed into the next 6 weeks with end of the year concerts, recitals, etc, so I am hoping time will go relatively quick... well until we get on our way that is... then it can SLOW down!

Once more... any lurkers or posters who havent posted lately, we would LOVE to have you join in on our fish extender exchange! We have a pretty small group, only six families at this point, and we will be cutting it off at 10 if we get there. Please PM me or email me at tln1@mchsi.com with your info if you want to be added. Ok folks, the fish extender list is closed! We have a small group of six families but since for most of us this is our first cruise this is probably a good thing. I am excited to start thinking of some ideas!
