Hope you have smooth flying to London. I heard there were a bunch of flights that were backed up in Newark due to storms and computer problems with the air traffic controllers. Hopefully it's all good today.

It seems that there are many who are rethinking the Florence/Pisa trip. We're still signed up, but are considering options.

Smiling Jack...here's my thoughts, the florence/pisa was getting some bad reviews (lots of driving, little down time) and I figured why pay that much to be disappointed. I would rather save some now and hope that everyone else that has the excursion has a wonderful time and tells me all about what I missed..that way I know I have to come back

It seems that most of the other excursions are getting pretty good reviews. In fact, have most of you noticed that sardinia is the best! Which is great cause it is hidden. Not alot of information available.

My laundry is done! I have drano'd my drains...so far so good Now off to get my tickets in order.

Where are you seeing the reviews of the on-shore excurisions? Dis-boards?
I booked ours at the very first opportunity. I have on-shore #10 reserved for La Spezia. You can only cancel these 3 days prior to departure.

Any comments?

We are arriving one day early just in case and plan to be aboard the Magic early. We live in Florida thus a bit shorter trip. This will be my wife's been on 9 Disney cruises. She takes one each year with our older daughter and leaves us at home!

No worries -- so do I! Sounds like you are already have a handle on this, but to clarify, original just means the one the pharmacy put on & not one you may have labeled, & not in a different container or ziplock or something. It's just because they can't easily be sure of what it is....!

Also, sorry about your TA issues. I agree they really left you hanging & that was unprofessional. Not to defend the lack of docs (or the rudeness by any means), but I did think DCL was very late in sending these as well. I usually have them in hand a lot sooner. Oh well -- hope the agency learns from your pain!!!

I still haven't received the documents they "overnighted" me yesterday.

and there is an excursion thread now, lots of people are posting info. It was interesting to me that most were getting moderate to good except the florence tours. Most people posting were disappointed. I am waiting for the current cruisers to post after their day. I think they are in florence on tuesday. Which is good, cause if the post good info, I might switch back.

We've all gotten to know each other and welcome all newcomers. We are planning several things...
If you arrive on or before the 15th and want to meet for dinner, pm pillow(jodie) or post to see if she can add you to our reservation. We are meeting 6/15/07 at La Poma restaurant in the Royal Ramblas Hotel @ 8pm.

Alot of us are meeting up at the port around 11:30am to get in line to board. and then, there are many of us meeting for an introductary lunch on board. Time is approx 1:30 and Restaurant is TBD as disney will not release which restaurant is open until sail day. If you want to do this let me know so I can add you to the group. You can find any of us by our fancy Medhead t-shirts. Just click on the link by my signature to see the design. It's actually the banner although most have a pirate too.

There's another meet and greet in leilani's room on the 17th @ 2pm. You can post here that you want to be added but it's an open invitation. They are in the Roy Suite. You can't miss it, a very loud group in a suite at 2pm. 8th deck.

BUT...we want more info...let us know you plans. You can scroll back to see what others are doing. I printed the list. Also we are planning to meet the night before each port day if you are on your own or just want to have a drink. See if anyone wants to buddy up etc..

Yup, she's 16, so close enough. There were a few others but I've lost track. She is getting more excited about going to the teen club. She used to be wildly opposed to the idea but I think it's growing on her. Mostly I think she just wants to get away from the adults. I can't imagine why....

It is overcast but not cold today. Just packing what a nightmare that is. Have the big case with the posh stuff still to go. Dont does take up room?

$200 referral I really did battle with Disney Vacation Club and they eventually sent us $100 as compensation. They told us it is our government that will not allow this but checked with our mp and that is not so.

Can you use Disney Dollars or change them on the boat do you know?

Another thing, my husband is addicted to grand prix motor racing and is having withdrawal symptoms as there is the American one I believe on the
17th. Does anyone know if this or the highlights will be shown anywhere on the ship otherwise I am tempted to leave him at home.

Well back to the packing glad when it is done and I can perhaps relax.
