We are doing the Flamenco & Tapas and that starts at 1:45 so we won't be able to meet for lunch. Will deifinitely wear the gear to the port - great idea!

I still haven't decided what to do in Barcelona on the 15th! Let me know if anybody wants to meet up for lunch, dinner or exploration!

We are so IN for the lunch-

We are meeting up with our foreign exchange student's family on the 14th & 15th (I THINK, we have not talked about which day they are coming in), so I have NO clue what we are doing--they are planning everything. I only have one message from him saying spanish wine + Barcelona is GOOD. I am a little afraid Don't want to be the weinie american who cannot hang with the Europeans

Oh well, It's so exciting reading all your plans to meet on the 15th & lunch on the 16th. Disney Lover Linda & I don't arrive in Barcelona Airport till after lunch on the 16th. We'll be with you in spirit!

It is gettting exciting! It will be here before we know it!

P.S. We don't know if we'll be wearing our shirts when we arrive, because after the long traveling time the shirts (or us) won't be smelling like roses!

Do we REALLY need the washing tablets? Isn't there a laundry soap dispensing machine on board the ship? I remember doing laundry on our last cruise, but I can't remember where I got the soap from?

Hi Jodie - No you're right, there is a soap dispenser in the laundry room. I mentioned I brought the detergent tablets and bounce sheets on last cruise. It worked well for me, less quarters to worry about! But it really isn't necessary. I have a roll of quarters I'm bringing either way.
I can't believe it's getting so close either! I wonder if they will have a special gift for out cruise. I know during the last panama Canal cruise they got blankets with Panal Canal Crossing on them. So much to look forward to!

What kind of daypack is everyone using for the tours? I am trying to decide on which one to order from Magellans. I saw on the Rick Steve's website a nice day backpack that my DH could wear. Thanks for any input.

This is the first time my DB has closed his office for two weeks... so no we are heading back to the USA right after the cruise is over. The thought of staying by myself was unappealing, so alas .... I will just have to plan another trip to see Paris!

We arrive on the 15th around 8:30 AM, I'm hoping we get some sleep on the flight. Let's meet up with Jodie and Steph for dinner, that way we can all be excited together! lol Are you going to reconfirm with Angie on the time? I have no problem with leaving at 10:00 AM. On the last two cruises I've been on with Disney they always let you on the ship earlier than expected. You couldn't go to your room but it didn't matter, it was great to be on board!

I'm going away next week for my neighbor's 50th! Her husband is sending 6 girls away to a condo on the beach in FL for her birthday and I'm not even excited! I just can't wait to be on this cruise! Of course I have to feel guilty about taking so much time off of work....there must be something wrong with me!

Yes marie...join us. We still need to figure out how to meet up! We'll get there. I will have my laptop so I can post here where to meet and when. I will also have the cell but thats costly. I don't know my hotel # but I am sure I can get it. Hmm...now I have more to do.

And anyone who does not have a shirt or it's dirty and wants to find us, I'll be the parent with the whiny 9 year old standing in line telling her to be patient . I can already hear her...mommmmmmm i'm bored....how long will this take....

Hmm . . . I'm not very technical - don't know if I'll have a laptop, and I doubt I'll have a cell with me. Maybe we can make the plans before we leave. I have the name of a couple of good restaurants. We'll probably need a reservation if there are a bunch of us.

BTW...I didn't tell you all but damn if i didn't get Pink eye. Working at a school is great for the time off but man, I get everything those kids get. I got my drops tonight so hopefully I'll be normal tomorrow...well if you knew me as close to my "normal" as possible.
