Is anyone interested in being our cruise director and directing our efforts toward the MOST AWESOME CRUISE ever? Lisatx sent me the thread on another cruise and they have all kinds of things planned and we should too!

Tshirts, bracelets, lanyards, parties etc?? Any ideas would be great!!

I made reservations for Brunch on Sunday at 1030 also. We reserved the VIP tour with the highlights of Rome. The extra cost one interests me - but my wife would hate being confined only at the Vatican. I also just noticed that the more expensive one says no photos will the middle cost one says photos but no flash.... Interesting - wonder how it will actually be.

We also reserved the Tapas and Flamenco on our departure day.

Frances and Lauren (DD12) will be doing the Create your own perfume tour in Villefranche. That's all we've done so far.

Marie - we have a suite so we're able to book early.

I am making a mickey magnet for our door with our disname and regular names. If anyone else wants one PM me the following: Disname, Names of each person in your cabin and cabin#. I will put them on your door if we don't meet for lunch the first day.

I suggested earlier that we should have a lunch meet after check in. So anyone who will be at the port by noonish on the 16th and wants to have lunch on board before exploring barcelona, PM me and I will arrange with DCL to put tables together for us.

I believe you can book a room at palo to accomodate a brunch/tea group. Only someone who is cat 1-3 can do it now. If there is anyone at that cat. can you do the legwork to see if a group date is available?

On my lonely single parent side ...if anyone wants to adopt me for a palo dinner one night, I would love to have company. Don't want to be the dork all by myself!

So has anyone dropped out. I checked out the medheads website, is everyone still in and is anyone missing. I know it hasn't been updated in a while. I'd volunteer for that but I am tech challenged!

I think I am going to try naples on our own now. On the excursion thread someone gave great tips on how to get to pompeii and sorrento and then ferry over to capri. The total for 2 was under $70 euro. Which saves big bucks. Anyone else doing that? or feeling adventurous? Still haven't decided which rome excursion but definately doing the florence/pisa and evening casino (as long as kids club is open). I think all other ports will be on our own. I have Tivo'd every rick steeves/samantha brown/travel channel special on each place we are going and bought the books too! I should get going on my homework and plot out a plan of attack for each stop!

We are going to arrive in barcelona on the 14th (evening) so if anyone else is going to be in early let me know, we can get together for some walking sightseeing or whatever. We are going to paris after for 3 days if anyone else is going to dlp let me know. We can meet up there. (pending that we're not so tired of each other )

Hello everyone. Checking in from WDW! Weather has been great, although a little on the cold side. I am trying to finish up excursions right now, but it's a little tricky to get everyone to agree and they are so expensive. We are also getting ready for final payment I suppose.

Just finished my excursions finally. It came to $1000.00 more than I planned.

Yes - they will start from the ship - as they want everybody checked in before the tours. Great - I'll tell Lauren your daughter will be on the tours. If your daughter would like to email her - just PM me her email address and I'll pass it on.

In regards to pictures at the Vatican- when we were there we could take pictures in most places, some with no flash (paintings). The only place where they allowed NO pictures was the Sistine Chapel. They're very serious about no talking, no photos, no shorts etc in there.

I wonder what the deal is - as it says "exclusive to this tour - pictures - but no flash pictures will be allowed in the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum."

I guess we'll find out when we get there.......
