Hello Everyone,

We will be sailing also. Myself, DW, DD (14), DD (11). This is our second Disney Cruise. We hope DD #2 makes a friend fast! This is our 20th anniversary celebration with a week at Disney World after the cruise.

We have a double supply of DD10s, so maybe that can work. . There also seems to be a growing supply of DD14s as well (Including one of mine!)

Thanks! I think I am going to try to make that pact with the DH, although if I get a mile run in I will be proud of myself! Great thinking figuring out your resting metabolic rate, I will definitely figure ours out in June. Hoping mine will change as I lose weight before then. Are you considering the Castaway 5K? I am not a runner but am thinking about it, maybe it will give me a little extra motivation and something different to do It being our first cruise though I saw on a lot of threads not to over book yourself, which I tend to do and enjoy but since it's our anniversary I guess I should consider the DH's preferences

I would really love to do the CC5K and did some research on it. I do run, but strictly on a treadmill. I thought if I only ever did one race in my life, this would be the one to do. My only reservation is, the whole process seems extremely time consuming, and I don't know if I'm willing to take that much time away from my CC day with my son When I hit the gym, it's usually early in the morning before anyone else is up, so it doesn't take away from my time with them. I too shall have to give it some serious thought.

DS (7) has been bugging me (constantly) about another cruise so putting a deposit on this cruise is one of his (and mine! - not that I would have to drag DH aboard) Christmas gifts.

We have been on 3 cruises: 2 Eastern Caribbean on the Magic (Feb 09 and March 11) and a Carnival Valor to the Southern Caribbean this last June. We all loved the Magic and are looking forward to cruising the Fantasy.

Aughhh...just found out my daughter's dance recital is June 15th & 16th!

My daughter is so disappointed because she has missed every dance recital because of either vacation or moving. Changing isn't even an option but I feed horrible.

Wow, that's tough! You need to come up with a special consolation reward onboard just for her to make up for missing her performance.

Pixiedust for me! We leave tomorrow to cover the Fantasyland Expansion Grand Opening for USA Weekend Magazine (as DH works for USA Today)!! Between the paper and Disney PR, we are promised VIP treatment, and the story DH pitched is a "kids' eye view" of the new section, so DS will be the star of the show. We will be riding the new Dumbo ride and Test Track over at EPCOT with a couple of the imagineers who worked on these rides, and DS will be on the cover of the magazine's March spring break issue. I will share the story when it comes out, but wish us lots of magic!
