June 15-21...we're back and missing HRH!

will be posting the highlights of our trip this weekend. If you have any questions, before I post my trip report let me know. I will be uploading some pics too of our favorite dishes at US. It was great...when other folks saw me taking pics they came by to tell me what a great idea and started taking pics too! I found in US that silly fun is still contagious.

Where we stayed: HRH - Room 7044! Upgraded at the desk by Marina , because she did not have deluxe queens available. She was very sweet and called later to see if our room was satisfactory. We had a fantasic view of the pool and both parks...I even watched Illuminations from my room sipping wine.

Where we ate: The Kitchen, Pastamore, HR Cafe, Tchoup Tchop, Emerils, Sweet Tomatoes, Unos, Fireeater's Grill, Latin Quarters, Ohana's and the Coral Reef. (will supply details later.)

Overall, we had a great time and we were able to turn any lemon drops into lemonade.

Welcome back. Can't wait to read your report! We are including US/IOA for the first time this Dec...staying at HRH for the nice FOTL perk!!!

I've been trying to find out more about eating options. Everything I've come across tells you NOT to eat in the parks. We have young children 6 and almost 3 when we visit in Dec. I would really like to do 1 char meal. At Disney we usually do a BIG meal (char buffet) at lunch...and a lighter counter svc meal in the evening. Is this possible here??

Yes, this is possible in US too. Matter of fact, we ate our largest meal at mid-day and counter sve in the evenings with the exception of Tchoup Tchop.

So glad you had a nice trip. We leave tomorrow for RPR. What's the weather been like? Weather channel has been showing lots of rain. If it did rain on you, did it dampen your spirits (or your ability to do anything at the parks?)
