June '12 waitlist

Hi everyone,

I have June 15, 16 and 17th booked. I wait listed at 2BR LV at BLT for the 13th and 14th today. Am I too optimistic given this is 3 months away?

Also, I have 80 points left. The wait list is 105 points. Will they allow me to buy the 25 points automatically or will this prevent my wait list from confirming?

I was so excited to book, I have June 15 and 16th as a 2BR LV in one reservation and June 17th in another 2BR lock off. This could be a mess... but I really want to go. We just bought into DVC last June, went August '11 for the first time. I didn't book in advance because of work schedules...hoping this comes through. Ahhh!

You can not wait list if you need to buy the points. In addition, the most you can buy is 24 one time use points.

But, if you only have 80 and still need 25 (even if you could buy from MS), you can not set up a wait list without having the points available to fill it, either with banked or current UY points or with points needed to borrow.

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it. I'm new to this whole process. I am modifying my waitlist and I may just buy a night to ensure I'm there a bit longer. Thanks =)

I had a waitlist for June 14 & 15 in a 2 bedroom lake view and recently got it!
