Hi all, Thread may be moved since there are so many. Just getting everyone’s thoughts on the chances of the June 12-17 cruise taking place. It’s one of the very rare double dips at CC. We have debated and debated cancelling but are holding out in the fact that we will sail if it happens. If Disney deems the cruise safe, we Trust them!

Zero

I doubt any cruises will be off this summer.

We have school cancelled through June. It’s not going to go from Everything locked down to business as usual immediately. Pleasure travel is going to be one of the last things to come back with cruises at the very end of it

I think the only correct answer to these types of questions is NO ONE knows. ;) Not even the people who make the decisions know at this point. Sadly it has to be taken day by day. Trust me, I get the worry and anxiety of wanting to know. I have a once in a lifetime, bucket list trip, that I've waited 25 years to take, booked for July. I would love to know right now what is going on so I could make alternate plans, which I'm guessing I will have to, but unfortunately its just a game of waiting at this point. :sad2:
Hang in there and good luck! :goodvibes

The CDC has currently forbidden any embarkation or disembarkation of crew from cruise ships. They have also banned anyone getting off a cruise ship from flying commercial.

In that context, the odds are really bad right now.

We are booked to sail June 27th out of Florida - I fully expect it to be cancelled.

The order can be rescinded, according to the first paragraph. I'm not sure it's likely, but there is the option to do so.

Nobody knows what will happen.

However, I would plan on being cancelled and HOPE for a cruise.
Rather than planning for a cruise and HOPING not to be cancelled.

(ie don't make fish extenders, magnets, etc. just adds to the disappointment)

I think the key here is to read through all of what they require o be allowed to sail, then consider if June is realistic.

I'm confused - is it 120 days from the first order (March 14) or 120 days from this order (April 8)?

I will be very interesting in hearing what plan the cruise lines and/or CLIA comes up with to comply with this.

Not all that sure which it is. But the 120 days is the duration of this order. It can be terminated sooner if the CDC and USCG agree to terms or the cruise lines come up with some way to comply with the conditions on pages 5-7.

(spoiler: I see no way they can comply with the terms on 5-7. Not without having a sailing lose more money than sitting idle.)

I'm taking it to mean 120 days from March 14 2020. Doesn't mean I'm correct of course, but that's how I'm reading it.

120 days from March 14 is July 12 2020, if it's from April 8th then that is August 6 2020.

CDC just cancelled cruises for the Summer so wait and rebook something with your extra 25% discount.
