We are arriving on June 12th and leaving late in the evening on June 20th. How crowded are the parks that week in general? I noticed that the 14th and 15th of that week are some of the last days certain DL passholders can get in before summer blockouts. I assume those days will be busy. There are also Grad Nights the Wednesday and Thursday we will be there, so the park will close early. Are those good days to go? Thanks.

Just to add this to the mix, Al Lutz is reporting that WOC will start in DCA on June 10th. Yep, I'd bet for some pretty crazy crowds.

I will tell you my experience from last year:

We were there in June for the last 2 days of So Cal AP's (I think it was a Monday and Tuesday) and it was insane. There is no other word to describe it. Thankfully we are in DL often (about 6 times a year) with our AP's and we were able to work around the crowds, but it really was a nightmare for most. Adding WOC into the mix will make it all that much worse, I hate to be a Debbie Downer here, but I want you to be prepared... The parks were at full capacity for those two days, by noon.

If I were to be there again at the same time, I would go down south to another park, out of the Anaheim area. Again, this is my opinion from my own experience, but I wouldn't want to be there on those last couple of days of So Cal AP holders. They have the summer blocked out so FOR SURE they will be there.

Reviewing the AP blockout calendars as posted in this thread:

June 21 and 22 are not blocked and will be packed. June 23-26 are blocked and will be a much better option. June 24 is a grad night and will have short hours.

Dont know what I was thinking either - planning this week thinking it wouldnt be busy - June 14 - 21st - I was focused on our sons 2 year birthday on the 15th -

but now I see teh WOC starting, grad nights, lots of LONG LINES, Fathersday so we are planning on pool times, parades, aladdian show - and getting there early so I hope it works out for some fun - it will probably be our last June trip - ICK on the crowds - just wasnt thinking about it...

Hi again - we are going to be there the 14-21 VGC - since we have to start booking dining next week - does anyone know or have a good guess at the grad nights for that week? Or when we book will dining have all the information?

Isn't June 10th a grad night? They probably can't do WOC that night, because the park will close at 6pm.

I'm going to be there June 9-12 and I'm worried about the crowds too!

we have resigned ourselves to the crowds - just planning on early mornings,afternoon naps and pool times with kids. Catching more shows etc...so trying not to stress. This is my first june trip in like 10 years - we usually go Oct or Dec, just wasnt planning correctly

So we are just making LOTS of dining reservations so that we at least have somewhere to relax for a little bit...

We have two small kids so wouldnt be moving very fast anyway

June 10th is the media debut after DCA closes. June 11 is the public debut.

June 9-12 are about as good as it gets during that time frame. I suspect June 9-10 will be lower crowds and June 11-12 will be more. But not as bad as the non-blockout days.
