June 12, 2015 Disney Dream 3-night

My 10 year old daughter is interested in making a friend from this cruise so they can hang out together on the ship (she's an only child).

She'd like to have an old-fashioned pen pal and maybe add digital communication as we get closer to the cruise and they know each other a bit better.

She is a sweet, kind-hearted kid and I would love to help her with this so I am throwing it out here.

If you have a daughter who might enjoy this, let me know!

Thanks!
Becca

Our DD will be turning 9 around the time of the cruise. Send us a message and we will take it from there.

Hi! This will be mine and my husbands 1st time on a Disney Cruise, but my 3 children's 2nd time (11, 9 & 5). My oldest daughter is 11 and would love to have a friend on the boat. Not able to do a Pen Pal as she does not know about the trip....it's a surprise. I'm also interested in the FE.:cool1:

Hi again,

TRcruisers: I can't send a message because I don't have 10 posts.

Kromy: maybe we can arrange a meet up on board? What a great surprise!!

Becca

We are going on the Dream, June 12, 2015 after a week in WDW. It will be myself and my 9 yr old DS and two of my nieces - 18 (graduating high school and this is her celebration / gift trip) and 19 (took last year for graduation but not on the cruise so she gets a do over). Just got of the fantasy 7 day Western Caribbean a few weeks ago and having withdrawal. Love getting to know people before the cruise. Also, is anyone organizing the FE groups?

Valerie

Wanted to wish all of you a safe and blessed Thanksgiving!

Counting the days "197" - as of 11/26 - 'til we sail....

We are DVC members and have gone to WDW multiple times but this will be our first cruise. Also interested in FE.

We have 3 kids, boy 11, girl 6, girl 3

The decision has been made!! My two children (6 ds & 12 dd) and myself will be traveling sans dad (he has to work) :(.

The plan is to surprise the kids at some point but for now let the planning begin. This will be our 8th Disney cruise. FE sounds fun!

Wahoo! 154 days & counting! :hourglass
Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas and that 2015 is the best-est ever!

I just counted those who posted on our DisBoard and we have 9 cabins interested in the FE!

TRCruisers, once we get another cabin will you organize it for us? :wave2:

Hi all!

Will anyone be in the parks before we sail?

I booked a private boat for an Illuminations Cruise on 6/8 and we have room if anyone is interested in joining and splitting the cost.

I have this listed on on the share board but wanted to throw it out to cruise mates as well!

Getting excited!!

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Hey all! We are joining everyone for the cruise on June 12th! :beach:

There will be 10 of us, my family of 4, my brother's family of 4 and my parents.

What is everyone doing in Nassau? We are thinking we might just stay on the ship that day to explore and take advantage of the ships activities.

What about Castaway Cay? My kids are older (22 & 17) and I think we might try a snorkeling excursion. We intend to buy snorkeling gear to take with us so we can snorkel from the shore as well.
