HEy guys.....I am tired of snow. I swear we got a foot. It reached the top of my boot and it measured 12 inches!!! I can't wait for spring break!!!!!!!!!!

Yahhuh LOL We are going on 3/23 (Easter) for a week on RCCL Voyager of the Seas. We will stop in Cozumel, Roatan Honduras and Progresso/Merida Mexico. It is a bigger ship- they even have an ice rink, a Ben and Jerrys and a Johnny Rockets in the Grand Promenade. Should be fun. We are going with 2 other families from church.

I agree with Kim- snow snow snow. I think we only got about 6 inches here-still plenty!!!! Waiting to see what happens about going to school tomorrow. I used my last snow day, so anymore now i will have to make up.

We dodged the snow bullet this time, but unfortunately in went South. Sorry Marion & Kim.

78 degrees sounds wonderful though. The highest we've been in last few weeks was 40 & it dropped into the 20s by afternoon.

I can't believe Easter is just a few weeks away.

NO WAYY! haha me and emily are only 4 days apart!!!...i think we learned that before though ---- oh well!!!!

Marion-- that sounds like so much fun!!! on our Royal Caribbean cruise there was a ben & jerrys too...it was nice to have that besides the regular free stuff...hehe! =]

last night the weather got so bad [rain + black ice...weird combination, i know!] that we closed the dance studio at 8 so i had a whole night to do my homework. it was the best!!! if i had to pick one night, it would be last night...so yayyy!

hope all are well and having fun....thoughts of spring... =P

Hello Everyone

Stacy is on Spring Break this week (we were schedule for a Disney Cruise but had to postpone it). We're suprising her with a weekend trip to the beach! (if we can find a place to stay!)

We're doing well.

Marion. . .enjoy the cruise. . .give my family's love to your family!

Kay. . .glad you are home!

Happy Birthday to all those I've missed.

Our weather here is crazy. . .just like the rest of the states.
It was warm on Thurs & Friday but very cold on Saturday.

my birthday was great....we got a wii!!! i love it! hehe...but my cousins came down and surprised me by going to the dinner/show we had planned for. yay!!!! i had crab legs! they were great because i didnt even have to crack them...

char -- wow! our spring break isnt until april 6th!

Scott finally got the hernia fixed that he should have had fixed a few months after our 2006 cruise. Stubborn men! When they got in there, the hernia was much larger & he had a large 2nd one.

It was long day at the hospital. I thought of you guys & how supportive you were when I was terrified during Scott's emergency surgery.

I was very worried again. His surgery was delayed for 4 hours. I couldn't find anyone to take my boys after daycare. I didn't eat lunch or dinner. I finally had to have a cousin in the city pick my Mom up & drive her out--this took about an hour & half. Scott was sent home at 9:40 p.m. from day surgery before he should have been, puked part of the way home, & began bleeding b/c he was throwing up so hard. It's not day surgery when your surgery doesn't start until almost 6pm. INSURANCE.......

I wound up having the symptoms of heart attack 12 hours after I got him settled in at home. I was taken my ambulance to the ER & refused to let them call Scott or Nana (my Mom) who doesn't drive. I didn't want them to worry & b/c they took me to a hospital 20 minutes North of my school which was about 50-60 minutes away from my house. The hospital really barged me about not calling someone.....but we're both pretty much only children & his family will do NOTHING for us ever.

To make a long story shorter, it could've been acid reflux w/ symptoms of anxiety, & possibly virus (raised white cell count), etc. The wierd part was that I felt totally fine at school....until someone accidentally snuck up on me & scared me at the copier. My heart started racing & BP wouldn't go back down.

I'm still having more testing done to be safe. I really don't want to have a heartattack at age 39!!

The hospital I was taken to was terrible. They wanted to keep me over night, but when the electronic monitors stopped working & no one came in my ER room or noticed me for 3 hours.......I signed myself out against medical advice & drove myself home.

Mary. . . aren't ER's fun???! I'm glad you are ok and that Scott is doing well.

We are only 3 hours from Gulf Shores Alabama. . .a church member has a condo there and he offers it to church members with a discount. . .so we're headed there either Thursday or Friday.

Hernia surgery for Scott............. yep, I hear 'ya. Hope he heals much better than I did, and safer also.

And, let's not get into "no insurance". If it weren't for my disability and Medicare, I would be in so deep, I hate to think of what I would be doing............

Life just isn't fair sometimes............

Just think POSITIVE and keep going forward - things get better.

I am going to do my best to meet up with you guys at Disney. I have sort of decided not to go to my brother's on July 4th Holiday. Really haven't totally decided as yet. Have a little time left.

I do have the Germany trip scheduled for 7/19 thru the 29th. I hope I don't have to cancel that for some ungodly reason, --- like health ---.

Hope everyone's weather is improving - we had rain this week and it was a welcome for me. Made sleeping great. ha ha

Hi everyone!

We have been trying to get everyone healthy at our house before spring vacation the end of next week. Emme is better, but John didn't go on his work trip this week to Phoenix because he is sick. Weather was beautiful here yesterday- 70's. This weather is just crazy!

Charlene-have a wonderful time on your weekend- sounds great!

Mary- so sorry to hear about yours and Scott's health. Please be careful and take care of yourself. You won't be any good to anyone else if you don't do that. Praying for both of you.

Christine- glad you had a good birthday. We have a Wii too! The whole family loves it.

it is raining and blowing terribly in Ft. Lauderdale today/tonight.

Going to an Easter Egg Hunt for little wee ones tomorrow morning. Should be fun.

Karen wants to tke Abby to Metro Zoo in MIami. It's been a long time tht I was there.


Kaitlyn is getting so big and she is so smart.

Abby is saying several words and putting several together - she is a cute little thing.

mary -- my favorite thing on the wii is playing tennis! [wii sports]

i had a fun weekend...we planned to drive to sandusky to stay at a hotel w/a pool friday night and go to kalahari [worlds largest indoor waterpark] all day saturday...

well we got in to the comfort in and went to the pool. there were ants all around then edges of the pool! and if thats not enough a mouse ran through the pool area!!!! there was a door to outside from the pool with a 3-inch hole all the way across that they tried to cover up with towels...i did not want to stay there so we checked out after only about 45 minutes...w/a refund...and tried to find a marriot to stay at for the night. we thought to check and see if the waterpark had any rooms available [we tried to get one when booking the trip but there was a minimum of 2 nights] so we parked by the door. [i forgot to mention - my friend was with us! haha] my dad came back out and said "they have terrible service! the parking guy wont let me park here! we will just go find somewhere else!" well i said that if he would go and park i would try and ask if they had any rooms. well we parked and brought our stuff just in case and the lady at the front desk had my dads credit card! he played a joke on us and we got a room! so not only did we get to stay the night there, but we had 3 extra hours at the waterpark! it was sooo much fun! YAY

i just have dance today....have a good week!

We are off to Ausitn on Thursday morning and then off to Galveston on Saturday for our cruise on Sunday. We won't return home until the 30th.

Hello my friends: can you believe Easter is so early this year??

Well, I paid off the final payment on my Disney Germany trip. Guess I'll be going.. If something happens, at least I took out insurance.

I also have my Catarac surgery scheduled for 4/2. Wanted to do it next week, but Dr. is out of town. I hate waiting.

For those of you traveling this weekend, please be care but have a wonderful time.

Marion. . .have a wonderful cruise!

We had a good time at the beach last weekend. It was cool and windy but that didn't stop my 9 year old from getting in the gulf! It was so cold. . .her hands turned blue. We all enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub.
