Omg Bill you are soooooo funny!!! It will be great to see you and the family!!! We treating Nassau as sea days and staying on the ship. We have signed up to parasail the 1st CC day What was I thinking!! Think mammaw will want to also??? Em signed up to do the wild side thing on the second CC. Tom and I are going to Palo on the lst night of the 1st cruise. They only offered the brunch on a CC day and while I LOVE the brunch CC sounds a little better so we are skipping the brunch

We would love to go on the next cruise but we are going to Switzerland for 2 weeks that summer!!!!! So I think that will be our trip for the summer.


Sorry to everyone else that I haven't been posting too much. Sounds like there is going to be a big group of dissers. Are we going to have a meet the first day to say Hi?????

Okay - obviously I'm wishful that the June cruise is our 7-night scheduled for January, as I got our decks mixed up! Now I got it straight.

Hey to Michelle, Amanda, and Jim. More greetings to come. From Remulac(Mork and Mindy). May I be dumb and ask if you guys have planned a disboard meet yet? In the past , we would meet on the starboard side of deck 10 before the sailaway party. Now , as I recall, we won't be required to go to the lifeboat drill due to the fact that Mammaw will be in a wheel chair. KIMMIE,,,,,,,,YOUHOO,,,,,,Yes , I still like to have fun here on the boards. Haven't been here in a while. I feel like I am releasing all of the built up frustrations. Mammaw just got hauled off to the hospital by ambulance. They had to break in to her house with the police and have the fire department come to see her. It seems to be okay. A bladder infection. She fell and couldn't get up(boy am I going to raz her about that!!!) I guess they will keep her for a day or two. The hospital is full and they have to keep her in the emergency room.
Do you guys know of any excursions that would be good for Mammaw?

Hey everyone, I hope I didn't scare you off. I'll post this to get us up front. Haven't had any time to look over the excursions. Went to see Mammaw in the hospital last night. Got home at 2AM. 2Hour drive each way. She looked pretty good.

Help, I'm all alone!!!! It's so cold here. More coffee There, I'm better. Haven't yet called Mammaw. Got to go to Billy's school today for enrollment. Tried to find out which dinng rotation we will be on , but that is classified. I thought it would help me decide what day to celebrate Mammaw's birthday. Just not sure. Got to make up my mind.

Hey Everybody,
If my dad didn't mention me then hi I'm Kristen. But If he has you already know i'm his daughter. Whatever my dad has said if he did is WRONG! Don't listen to him he is sooooo embarrassing. But I just wanted to say i am soo excited for our cruises in june. And also to say hi to kay if she sees this message! I wish you all luck with your cruises and to have a good spring break right now. My dad might have mentioned mammaw and well she fell but she is getting better and telling EVERYONE that she is going on another cruise. But even i can't wait for the movies ocean quest and pirate night along with all the FOOD! But anyways i have gotten my cast off yay! i fell skating i am such a clutz! But my wrist is still getting strrength. So i will see you all later!

Michelle,,,,, I'm all alone again. Not even my daughter is posting. Its kind of like going into a black hole. You just don't know what you will find. I will be going to see Mammaw tomorrow in the hospital. She is very weak, but, I think it will improve. Two peanuts are walking down a road. One is assaulted. Two strings walk into a bar. The bartender says " I'm sorry, we don't serve strings here." One string, dejected, walks out to the street and folds himself up. He walks back into the bar. The bartender says " I thought I told you , we don't serve strings here." String says" I'm afraid not."

Hey everyone! We are really looking forward to our first Disney cruise... my 4yr old daughter (almost 5) is already packing! She keeps bringing me more stuff that she is sure she will need... Well anyway just thought we would check in.

Hi to Ottes4,,,, Post a lot here and keep us company. Ask questions and we'll see what we can tell you. Have fun on the boards like I do if it doesn't rub you the wrong way. Disney cruising is the greatest!!!!! I am looking forward to pirate night. Mammaw hasn't seen it yet. She didn't see it on the last cruise we took her on. I just got back from seeing Mammaw. She doesn't look the greatest right now. I don't know quite what to make out of it. The electricity went out in her house last night in the living room and i couldn't figure out when. When I replaced the fuse, it immediately blew times two. A total of three fuses lost. I had to go to the Walmart to get replacements. Without an obvious source, I ended up calling an electrician,,,,,,,$$$$$$$$$.
The porch light in the back is shorted. Unknown location. It will require rewiring later on when she is back in the house. Disconnected for now.

Bill- Hope Mammaw is getting stronger each day! Can't wait to meet everybody. I assume that we will all try to meet on Sunday like posted a while ago? Anyone have any tips for traveling with our small children (our youngest will be just one)

ottes4 - your little one will have a great time!! My DS was 11 months on his first cruise and he had a blast! One important thing is to try to keep to their own schedule.

I haven't started on my fish extender yet. I do not know how to sew so the whole process is kind of scary!

I'm at the office and seeing lots of patients. I'll try to post some later also. I believe that the usual meeting place for Dis meets is the starboard side of deck 10 after the life boat drill. Mammaw will be in the wheel chair. I don't yet know how she is doing today. Michelle- I too am not the best at sewing, but the fish extender is pretty straight lines, so I am crossing my fingers!

Bill- What do you do? You are finding time to drop a note to us, so that must mean you were having a good day(not too busy)...

Can anyone explain the dinner rotation? When is pirate night etc.?

I have a Palo reservation for night 3 at 6pm, and my normal dinner time is late seating.....will I miss anything from the dining room?

MELISSA,,,,1. I am a doctor. So is my wife, Angela. 2. Pirate night,,,, It is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On one night of the cruise,,, After the show is over,,, on deck 9 and 10,,, there is a deck party. All of the characters come out and dance. Eventually, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee come out with some of their pirate friends and take over the ship.. Of course, Mickey is not around and the other characters let Captain Hook know that Mickey will not like it. For a while there is pirate dancing and fun and the other characters are around. THEN,,,, Mickey appears in the top of a smoke stack. Captain Hook realizes that he is defeated. Mickey says some more(don't want to give it all away) and this is followed by fireworks , right there at night off of the ship.. There is also a buffet going on , on deck 9 while all of this is happening,, TRULY a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE and one you will remember for the rest of your life.
All of the shows on the ship are only seen on Disney Cruise line and cannot be seen on land, even at WDW. You must see all of the live shows in the Walt Disney Theater!!!!!! I don't remember the last question.
