It is tonight...
EnchantedPlayroom, Huerita and I went to San Pedro this morning to see the Magic come in. We left here at 5am and made it there around 6:40am and she was already docked!...Apparently, she arrived at 5am!! ...so we missed her coming in, missed the horn and everything... so we went to Disneyland and had fun shopping until noon, then headed back to the port... played there for a couple of hours then waved at her going out at 4:15pm. We got to hear the horn 3 times before she was gone... it was BEAUTIFUL. It was the first time for Huerita and she was moved to tears by it.
It is now 6:50pm and we just got home... we are exhausted. The kids were so good all day long even though they are both fighting a cold or something, both of them came down with a fever so we are keeping them home for the rest of the evening and tomorrow... so they can fight this off in time for next weekend. So no DVC meeting for us.
It's now just 6 days people!

My DD has been sick to for a couple days now though i think she may be making her way out of it.

OK! I think I am done shopping. I went to Wal Mart (when they opened at 7:00) today. I got two new pairs of caprices, two new tops (to go with the 5 I already bought) and a pair of sandals. Plus some odds and ends.

I just got done with my post cards. Now I have to make the Fish Extender bags. Put all the papers together for the cruise. All the clothes for all of us are laid out on the coach in the basement. All we have to do is put them in the suitcase.

Slowly but surely I am getting there. I cannot believe that we will be on DCL at this time next week. At a sea day.

Now I am going to rest. My DS comes home today.

Good morning all! I can't wait to see the photos. It's always so neat to see the ship, I remember the 1st time we saw it, I was in awe of how big it was! I am hoping its not less magical because it is not at it's home port.

I am definitely ready to get out of here. We were supposed to have the most beautiful weather this weekend but instead, we had intense thunderstorms with lots of rain and hail! Not the best for Memorial Day BBQs!

I am cleaning my house right now and making lists for what esle needs done.
Just small things but still needs to get done!!!!

Tomorrow when eeryone is gone, I am going to unpack all my stuff and repack it, I REALLY NEED TO SEE IT all lasid out one more time i feel as if i have not packed well????????????

OH GOSH I HAVE ISSUES!!!!!!!!

And then everything will be complete.

Need to talk to the guy who is driving us to the airport soon tooo!!!!!!

Flying by the seat of our pants as usual. Mike went to work today so he can trade the Holiday for Friday.

I just booked the pre-cruise hotel at the Best Western on Long Beach Blvd.

All that talk about getting the suitcases out and starting packing was just that...talk. I will get started before I go to bed, if it's the last thing I do.

I am sorry please dont take offense, My Dh just asked me if we will ever take a vacation where there is NO LISt of what to pack just throw somethings in and go.

I told him if he ever wishes to take a solo cruise............BE MY GUEST!

And in return I will take a,,, WELL PACKED solo CRUISE !

Less than 48 hours before we leave! AAAh. Not finished packing yet. Am trying for 5 medium suitcases for 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids), do you think that's too much? We're also going to DL for a week.

Also, do you think we need to take jeans and sneakers for our DL stint? Will shorts and sandals be enough?

What days will you be at DL?????

We are not taking jeans for DL, just to save the space in the luggage.
We will be there for 2 days before the trip and 4 days after.

And i think you would be doing AWESOEm with that amount of luggage!!!

It really can be comical to watch us prep for a trip - or then again find out what we forgot. I'm nortorious for leaving at least 1 thing behind and realizing on the plane that I left it - too late to do anything about it. One time it was a whole weekend's worth of concert tickets - 3 shows - luckly we went early and could have a friend get them and fedex them to us.

So, having learned some lessons, I do have a list to refer to - it's just making the time to get it done. Meanwhile, I'm still at the computer...

We're going 4 days before the trip and 3 days after.

I hate packing so much. We travel a lot, so you think I'd be a pro, but I still panic and get totally stressed and overwhelmed.

One time i was traveling from AKRON to WDW by VAN with my friend and her son and my DD.

Well i got about to the MIDDLE of SC and realized i did not have our ANNUAL PASS!!!!!!!
I FREEAAKED out!

Thank goodness we could get it reprinted at WDW, but i di think about having it fedexed too!!!!!!

Last week is was in the 90's and like 4th of July at the beaches here! The weather has been quite unpredictable. No matter what the weather is like I know it will be MAGICAL
