Hey Sandy, quick question...

If for some reason we miss the cruise meet (I've been known to sleep well past 10am on vacations!) can you also include a room number list on our fish extenders? I am paranoid I am going to miss every one and then not have the room list to drop off my gift bags!!!

Hello Everyone!
We just got back from Graduation a little while ago. It was very nice. They had 360 grads with 8 different degrees. I was so proud of him when I saw him coming in the arena. He was a happy little camper I think for it to be over. It lasted a little over 2 hours.
Now it is on to getting ready for the cruise!

I just went through every store in one of our malls and i did not find WHITE PANTS.

I will be going tomorrow to another mall.

GOOD LORD i hope i can find some if not even capris will do i have based half my nights clothes on these pants!!!!!!!!!UUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHH

Sure wish i had not put that red shirt in the wash with my white pants!

My son was not happy it was over though and he is having a tough time realizing the "GOODLIFE" as he knew it is no more!!!!!!!!

Well, its getting close! What a day today has been! I think I am packed, at least clothes wise, for me and DD. We filled up about 3/4 of a suitcase with our stuff so there is room left for things, and DH is getting his own suitcase. We also have a hanging garment bag and TWO roll on coolers! One is actually my parents but since they are coming in on Sunday and won't have time for a grocery stop, we are taking it with us instead.

They got their room assignment! It worked out well gambling on that Cat12 room. They were upgraded to a Cat11 and now, they are on our floor! Yay! I also cancelled our Disney transfers and booked a private car service. That way, we can stop at the grocery store on our way to the port and pick up beer! Turns out, it was cheaper to do that anyway!

So... not much else to do except have DH pack and fill up the rest of the suitcases with SOMETHING!!! Tee hee! Maybe some box wine?

In 2005 when we went on the 7 night cruise to Mexico AND in 2006 when we went on the 10 night cruise to the Western Caribbean, both had Tropical night. It was on the same day as the character Breakfast... so everyone wore tropical print clothing all day.. I seem to think that it was on a sea day? I can't really remember/be sure, I getting old and the memory is fading... ergo another cruise to refresh my memory.

When I got home today the was a box in front of the door! It was my Oriental Trading with the Fish Extender gifts. Now tomorrow or Monday I will have to put the bags together.

Flo... I used to be the same way... I would not pose for a picture unless my hair was perfect, my lipstick was on straight and my outfit was cute. Needless to say, I was not in many pictures... until a friend of mine told me this story. She said her mother died when she was 13 years old... and she only had one picture of her mother because like me, she refused to have her picture taken unless she was perfectly dressed and made up. She started crying and made me cry too telling me that she did not want that for her children... she said that she jumps in front of any camera every chance she gets so that when she dies, her children will have lots of pictures of her to remember her. So now I do the same thing... I don't care how I look because in essense, that IS how I look. So be proud and jump in front of the camera and smile your biggest smile... do it for your son and your future grandchildren.

Just wanted to share. I contacted DCL about Tropical night. I wanted to know so that I knew of we should bring the dress and shirts. Here is there response.

On 7-night Mexican Riviera cruises:
*Nights 1, 3, 4, & 7: cruise casual
*Night 2: "formal night" - formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for
women: gown or dress
*Night 5: pirate night with deck party - cruise casual or your best
pirate outfit!
*Night 6: "semi-formal night" - semi-formal wear for men: suit/jacket;
for women: dress or pantsuit.

So I guess there is no tropical night?

Those are the same theme nights we have had in the past and this is our 4th 7 day cruise. We've never had a tropical night. I think it was replaced by the Pirate night.
