I am home and resting up. Of course I over-extended myself this week and now I feel like I have taken a step back. I came home Saturday afternoon and went back to work for a few hours on Tuesday and then for most of the day yesterday. But it turned out to be too much because I was in pain last night and took a percocet which really messed me up today! I went into work for about 2 hours before having to come home with a huge headache! I won't be taking any more of that stuff for sure!

Glad you are home! Take care of your self we have a cruise comming up. But I know what you mean after having surgery and thinking you are super woman.

hi everyone!!! i remember after i had surgery i was on vicodin or whatever pain pill, and i was walking all over, then when the pill would wear off, i was hurting, so i just took another one
our cruise is paid off!!!! my mom is doing one excursion, we booked our own in PV and i think we are just going to wing it in the other towns. we have a great on board credit, so we want to let the kids shop with it, i want to play bingo, and do the arcade for our son. i am really excited now. did you hear that passports are not required to get into mexico? is that true? i am all over the boards looking at all the postings, looking for tips.

Not sure about the passports! We got are's in 2006 when we cruised. I did not want to take a chance that they government of DCL would change there mind and I would be running around like a chicken with out a head.

Hello Everyone!

The below is what is happing in port in Florida I wounder if this is the way it is going to be in San Pedro for are cruise. I found this on the discussion part of the thread so I thought I would post it here. the preson that posted it is a very knowlegable. She is the one that delivers baskets to the port. I have used her several times. I wish she was in LA.

Guests are permitted to bring their beverages, HOWEVER, they MUST carry these items onboard the ship. The size is equal to the airline requirements which is a SMALL CARRY ON (BAG). These carry on (bag)'s must be able to fit through the X-RAY machine. As most know there are signs posted on the side of the terminal with these requirements. You can also check the DCL sailing brochure as it is listed there as well.
PLEASE DO NOT TIP the porter to accept the items to deliver to your rooms since they are not able to accept this offering.
COOLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED and you will be advised to return the cooler back to your vehicle.

HAPPY EASTER to everyone...
I have a busy weekend starting today through the weekend.
Today at my daycare we are decorating, hiding and hunting eggs. I am boiling the eggs as I type and I still have a few baskets to fill before the hunt at 4pm. I'll have 17 kids here for the hunt and about 6 parents to help me along with my staff of 3 plus myself. So a busy houseful of people today. I have 1 kid staying overnight and 1 visiting alumni kid and her mom arriving today and visiting for thu the weekend.
Saturday I'll have 2 kids here and some baking to do for Sunday.
Sunday we are all off to the Magic Kingdom of Disneyland for the day. Happy Easter to ME!

HAPPY EASTER to everyone...

Ok Tomorrow is Easter and Spring is here! Can someone tell me why I just got in from snow blowing my DRIVE!!!! We got about 6 insches of snow today. I want spring and Baseball.

Happy Easter everyone! We got snow today too! Sure put a damper on all of the kids at church and their cute sleeves Easter dresses!

I can't wait for this month to be over! It's the 1st year we haven't cruised in March for Spring Break and of course, it turns out to be the worst winter we've had in ages!

I hope everyone had a nice Easter. We spent ours indoors, had a nice meal and watched a little tv...

and I didn't go to Disneyland...,
It was so hot here that you would think we live in Arizona!...
It was SOOOO hot, I could not bear the thought of going outside in the hot dry air....
so I just hid in my air conditioned house all day.
I don't know what is up with our weather lately?!...
Last week we had mornings in the 30's and this week we are 90*!
So sorry Flo... I dont' have any new Disneyland pictures to share.

that is ok! At least you had a good Easter, that is what matters. In the 90's that is good. Here right now it is 36. All the snow we got on Friday is starting to melt. But because of this my son's school can't even start there baseball season. Believe it or not. They are traveling to Iowa today so that they can play baseball. They did not get the snow we got. Oh well what are you going to do.

LOL... THIS cruise is the only thing keeping me together...
I absolutely HATE this time of year so much, that I do EVERYthing I can to avoid getting things ready... and I do this EVERY stinkin' year.
One of these days I WILL be prepared and just DO IT.

Well I am getting ready and excited! We were in the hot tub tonight talking about how much time we had left to lose our winter weight for the cruise! We are soooo excited! This is our 1st time cruising with just the three of us - no other family or friends. We love our family and friends but its nice that it is just us for a change! YAY!

we are excited too!!! are we all going to wear the bright green dis shirts? i think that i might put my kids in those, but for us, we are probably only going to get the paint samples and decorate name tags. sorry, bright green would not look good i am going to make way cute shirts for my kids.
it is so close!!! i started a thread about what camera to buy, and so many people responded. people are so nice on here.
does anyone know about the arcade? i read somewhere that you get more for your money if you buymore hours or something. we are alos bringing the pillowcases, and a mat for a frame. i read on another thread to be sure to habve your picture taken outside in the sunset!!!
