They have tenders that take you to shore.

In 2005, we had our picture taken with one of the crew..then went below for a hardy breakfast. The crew is very entertaining...they put on a show and get the stow aways involved!

Once we anchored, they tendered us to shore where they had banana boat rides, canoes, snorkeling (although the water was COLD and there were jelly fish), volleyball and just relaxing in the sun.

It truly was a blast!!! Hope you decide to go.

Hi all! Not much to report. I am in the hospital at the moment, turned out my pregnancy was a tubal and we just found out yesterday so I have to be rushed here to have my tube taken out. Yowsers! All I kept thinking is that this the 1st time in 8 years that I haven't been on vacation this week somewhere Disney! Guess it was for the best!

I have a quesitons? If you are coming in the night before the cruise and staying in San Pedro how are you getting to the hotel? I have been looking and I can't decide witch one to use. I don't know any of them like I do the ones at Orlando's Airport.

did you all see they have changed the dinning rotation? there is a posting going, it is on the first page. i guess it is messing up some of the vetran cruisers who already made reservations.

Here is the dinning rotation if you do not go to the other part.

We just got off the Magic this morning and there was a new dining rotation. Usually the rotations are APL, PLA or LAP, however our rotation was PLLAPLA. They have started this because they are going to the LA for the summer and are trying something new Apparently the new rotation is also supposed to go along with the shows they have each night in the Walt Disney Theater. Unfortunately, they didn't get everything they needed to start the new menu's for this week, so it is supposed to start next week. However, since they had already made up the rotations, we did the new rotation without the new menu. Just thought I would let everyone know what to expect because we were totally confused when we got our KTTW cards.

GTY means you will get a room in the catagory you picked. This is when they start to upgrade people to fit the GTY's in. Some of the GTy's even get upgrades.

No I have never been lucky enough to get one. But then I am not sure I want one. I have heard that people booked in the middle of the ship and then ended up on the ends. We are Mid Ship so I am not sure I want one. Once they do the upgrade I am told there is nothing you can do. I do check when we get to port to see if there is any thing. SO far no luck.

**Scrapbook Exchange - Paper, stickers, emblishments like clips, buttons, yarn, ribbon, and some really cool things that were especially made by the scrapper for our cruise for scrapbooking. I tell you, some people are VERY talented (not me) but we had fun chatting and looking at other peoples pages and got lots of ideas from everyone. You bring 5 you take 5 etc.

*Fish Extenders – We will be putting little things in them through out the cruise. Like, Paper, Pencils, stickers, etc. To do this we can use the list that Sandy will compile for the Mickey door magnet.

Fish Extender Gifts - This can be EVERY day or you pick a day to distribute all your gifts. There really is no set rule for gift-giving, it is up to you as to what and how much you want to give... each to their own accord. Right now there are not many DISers that have signed up so the roster is quite small... so we could do it everyday... if there are many more that sign up, then we could do it all on one day and just lump our gifts in the Extenders on whatever day you choose. Bear in mind that it is a lot of fun to find something in your extender EVERY day.

I am home and resting up. Of course I over-extended myself this week and now I feel like I have taken a step back. I came home Saturday afternoon and went back to work for a few hours on Tuesday and then for most of the day yesterday. But it turned out to be too much because I was in pain last night and took a percocet which really messed me up today! I went into work for about 2 hours before having to come home with a huge headache! I won't be taking any more of that stuff for sure!

We got an upgrade our 1st cruise. We booked a CAT8 and got upgraded to a CAT4!!! It was nice and I actually LOVE having an Aft room because there is very little hallway noise from the elevators and we were sooo close to Topsiders that we could take a small side stairwell from there to our room. The downside of the upgrade is that we have never been able to sail without a balcony since then! So we book CAT6 rooms.

Every other year we have gone we have sailed with other people and have been tied to other staterooms. I don't think many upgrades happen when you do that because they can't upgrade everyone! But we are on our own again this year, so who knows???

If you get an upgrade, you won't find out until they send you the final paperwork about 2 weeks before we board.

PS - for rollcall, I am 35, DH is 30 and DD is 8!

Glad to have you back... don't rush yourself, take it slow... you have to take care of yourself.. and I know what you mean about the headache... sometimes the drugs make you feel WORSE than when you don't take them.
