Jumping January Exercise Challenge

Adding 60minutes PT, almost half of it on the recumbent bike ( still not enjoying it) LOL!

30 more minutes walking since last posting too. Adding 90 minutes all together. Wearing the fitness bracelet since last night, as the son who gave it to me came over....Interesting... he says people (even the ones who were already regular exercisers) tell him all the time how motivating it is. So, the wonders it can do for those like me who are late to the fitness game are mind-blowing!:confused3:laughing::wizard::rotfl2::thumbsup2

Currently at 684/930. Did my p90x for the day today. It was not the hardest workout - im finding this transition week is less intense before starting block two. I suppose it's kinda like a taper before a race. But that's ok, I just feel like I should be working harder to get better results. But the program had made sense so far so ill stick to it.

Ugh!!! Yesterday I fell while hanging decorations for my daughters sleepover birthday party :(. I was standing on a wobbly stool instead of a ladder, my fault. I badly bruised my inner calf in 3 spots, it's all swollen today. My whole left side is achy today. No treadmill for me today .... Or maybe a couple of days .
Lessen learned, always get the step ladder.

Oh no!!! I hope you feel better soon! It's always the littler things that get me too- like when I sprained my foot gardening!

Did the Pilates workout from p90x3 tonight. And we went ice skating today for the first time in probably 8 years! So much fun! :)

Curiosity got the best of me and I tried out Jillian's much longer Banish fat, Boost Metabolism. It went better than expected. Didn't have to stop once except when they stopped and did some modificated versions to make things easier on my knee(can't do 180 jumps and doubt I'll ever will work up the courage to do it but you never know). Overall I feel pretty good about it until tomorrow when everything will be sore I'm sure lol.

So that jumps my total to 515/620

yikes! I just rewarded myself with a massage (shins are so tight then I go banged it against a wood - end table. :confused3

45 minutes of cardio and abs yesterday.

Results of the 3-day cleanse:
1. Lost 1.6 pounds!
2. Lost half an inch off my waist!
3. Lost half an inch off my hips!
4. Lost an inch off each thigh!
5. I'm no longer craving sugar or sweet foods
6. I'm now drinking my coffee either without any sweetener or with just a touch of agave. I even made myself a cappuccino in our Nespresso machine yesterday morning, made with almond milk. I didn't put any sweetener in, just a little cinnamon on top and it was delicious!
7. I feel fantastic! My pants fit better and I just feel lighter.
8. I'm back in the healthy mode of thinking...making better food choices and hoping it continues.

Yikes! I hope the swelling and bruising goes down soon and there are no more serious injuries.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.

Over the last few days I ran/used elliptical 3x in 24 hours to replicate the event. After the second run I was exhausted! I ended up taking a nap and by the time I got up for my third run the roads were covered in black ice, so I had to switch to elliptical :mad:

Friday: 34 minutes
Saturday: 26 minutes running, 40 minutes elliptical

I have really not been keeping up with my goal. I have it worked into my schedule so much that when my schedule changes for any reason it suffers. I also have not been very good at keeping track since I'm so used to it being a set schedule! I'm not sure if I have anything to add from the last update or not!

As a team though we are at 62.1%!!!!

Still looking for a host for February :) Any takers?

No More Trouble zones was tough, but not too tough. I'm sure it's going to hurt tomorrow because there were some hard parts in it. I wasn't as sore as I expected from last night.
