Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

Hey Lisa,
Welcome back. I'm glad everything (travel, wedding) went smoothly for you all!

That is too funny about Lacey ditching her shoes during the ceremony, but it sounds so like her. :cutie:

I can't wait to see pictures - I'm sure Lacey was beautiful as well as the proud mother of the bride! ;)

Welcome home! I can't wait to hear all about the wedding & reception! :yay:

Welcome home! Glad everything went well, and you didn't cry too much. :thumbsup2

Hope you can stay awake and I look forward to seeing the pictures once you can get them up.

Welcome home, Lisa. I'm glad the wedding and reception went well and can't wait to see the pictures.

***Well, I've seen the pictures on FB and they are terrific. Lacey looked beautiful.

the thought of you walking down the aisle with a concealed camera really did make me chuckle! :lmao:

Glad everything turned out wonderful!

Welcome back! Congrats to Lacey and Jesse. I'm glad everything went well for you all. Looking forward to pictures, of course :rotfl2:

Welcome back Lisa! I saw the pictures on FB and Lacey was beautiful! Can't wait to see more!

Welcome home! I can't wait to see the wedding pics!

So, how did the drive go?

Welcome home. Congrats to Jesse and Lacey. I can not wait to hear all about it.

Hey Lisa,

Thank you all! I am still super sleepy and tired and hungry. Yes, I said hungry. We were so busy that we hardly ever stopped long enough to eat real food.

Lacey hates to wear shoes so it didn't surprise me at all that she took her shoes off about half way through the ceremony. She had them on when she walked down the aisle but when she stepped up the steps, her dress would get hung on her shoes. When she got to the top step, she, literally, hopped up. It was the funniest thing ever and everybody laughed.

The first part of the ceremony went really well and when it came to the part where she and Jesse were to walk across the stage and pour the sand in the jar, her shoe got stuck on her dress again. So, when the sand ceremony was done, she took a couple of steps and slid her shoes off right there in front of everybody. You could see how much more comfortable she was and everyone was smiling at her because most know how much she despises wearing shoes in the first place.

I posted the pictures on Facebook so that our family and friends could see them. They are just the ones of the wedding preparations and the decorations and a few that I took while the photographer was taking pics before the wedding. I didn't get to take pictures of the groomsmen because I was in the kitchen and reception area tidying up things.

I have a few minutes, so I'm going to upload the pictures I have and post them here for ya'll to see.

Oh Liz, I forgot to mention the drive. We got off I-20 at Villa Rica and took 61 and 92 up to just about Canton and then 20 over to Hwy. 19/400. The drive wasn't bad but we did get turned around once when Mama couldn't figure out which turn I needed to make to get to 92. We stopped at a business and they gave us super easy directions and we were back on the road in no time.

On the drive back, we took the bypass around Atlanta. It wasn't too bad since it was a Sunday around Noon or so.

Welcome back!
congrats to Lacey and Jessie...can't wait to see pics of the wedding!!!!
I'm sure everything was beuatiful...especially Lacey :)

I'm so glad the wedding went well and you all had a safe trip! I can't wait to see some pictures.

I think we stayed at that Days Inn on one of our first trips. For some reason we though it would be a good idea to check out of our Disney hotel, go to the parks one last day, then leave Disney just to stay there??? Anyway...the place was really creepy. There were several open room doors on our way down the hallway to our room...and people just hanging out...gave us a very bad feeling. We showered, got the kids in pjs and got back on the road! I hate that you had your room broken into...what an awful thing to happen...and on vacation, too!

My Daddy lives near Villa Rica.

I am so glad that the wedding went great. Cute story about the shoes. Good for her to be able to relax and enjoy her wedding instead of worrying about what others would think about taking her shoes off. I can't wait to see the pictures.

Glad you made it there and back safely and that everything went well!

I don't facebook, so I am dying for you to post pictures on here. I will continue to wait patiently though...

Merci

Photobucket is giving me fits today! It won't let me upload all of the pictures! Still working on it and will post them as soon as I can.

I can only imagine how lovely Lacey looked and hope to see the pictues soon. Hope you enjoyed the day also. And now another reception this weekend...wow...will she wear her dress again. Did they go on a honeymoon?

Are there pix I didn't see? I am patiently waiting :surfweb:. I know what you mean about photobucket too, I don't know why we pay for it to be so bad :headache:.

Hey! You weren't too far from me actually! I didn't even look at going over 20. That is how we used to get over to that area when we lived in Canton. I should have thought of that.

Glad to hear that you made it through okay on Sunday.

Hi, Lisa. Glad you made it back safely and everything went well. I can't wait to see the pictures. I sent you a friend request, so maybe I can see them sooner! I know you are crazy busy with Hunter getting going with school and both band and football, plus getting ready for the reception AND catching up at work. Wow, makes me tired just typing it! Hope your strength holds out! :goodvibes

You went within 500 yds of my house. If I had know I could of waved.

Glad the wedding went well can't wait to see the pictures. Glad to come read some happy news for what's been a crappy week. :)

I'm sorry I haven't been back to post pictures of the wedding. Photobucket is giving me fits and will only upload a few of them. I'm going to open another Photobucket account in a minute so I can try and upload more.

The wedding is over but the rushing is not as the Louisiana reception is tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. The building we are using (free of charge since my cousin is President of the Civitans) is rented out tonight so we can't get any of the decorating done until tomorrow morning.

Instead of buying another wedding cake, my niece (who works part time in a bakery) and I decided to do replicas of the wedding cake and groom's cake that were at the Georgia reception. I spent 6 hours, yes 6 hours, baking cakes and making buttercream icing last night. I didn't get to bed until 12:45 a.m. or so. In what little time I had to sleep between 1:00 and 5:00 this morning, I had nightmares about those darn cakes. I may end up trying to find a last minute replacement if the cakes don't stack right this afternoon.

We are having a full blown reception with both hot and cold foods and all of my family has pitched in with the cooking. At the Georgia reception, we had only desserts.

Oh well, let me stop here so I can try another photobucket account. I am anxious for ya'll to see the pictures.
