I was planning on spending july 4th at mk. we were thinking of eatting at Narcoossee's. My kids are 7 & 4, and the younger is a fussy eatter that doesn't sit well. Still willing to try. What time should we go to see the fireworks, they start at 9 pm that night. Also how should we dress, can we come from the parks. Thanks! :grouphug: :cheer2:

It is slightly fancier than park attire. We were in sundresses and khakis for the boys. The food is delish and they were surprisingly good with children. We ate early as we were afraid of our little ones(we have 4 children- 2 under 2 that trip) But they were fine and very entertained by the water and the open kitchen. They do not rush you. I would say our meal took about 60 minutes and we were rushing it along- I think you are making a great choice of getting out of the parks for the fireworks= be aware though that they do shoot some from around the lagoon- so right on the other side of the restaurant will be some fireworks shooting off during part of the big July 4th celebration.(also shhhh don't tell anyone- but they run the same july 4th firework show on july 3rd!!! much less crowded- at least they did that last year and said it was going to be that way from now on.) Have fun and we'll see you there :cool1:

My only concern for you is I've heard the park is at capacity on July 4th, what if you can't get back into MK after dinner? Have you thought of doing that on the 3rd since they do the same Fireworks then but probably a little less crowded and doing a Fantasmic dinner package at MGM on the 4th because then you have a set seat at Fantasmic and the fireworks at MGM are on the 4th too. Just a suggestion.

I will probably keep it as is. I'm not to worried about getting in the park after 9:30, my kids will be ready for bed by then. It will be alot of late nights for them, There use to being asleep by 8. Thanks everyone!
