We're wondering what the crowd levels are like in July. We're thinking of going this July 11-19.We've only visited in either May or the beginning of December and we're a little concerned about the crowds and the heat.We are definitely morning people,so getting to the parks early is not a problem. We did a split stay in Dec 07,but this time we'd like to just stay at the Poly the entire time.Looking foward to some responses-thanks!:) :goodvibes

you can do it.

go the parks early as you say - then leave when the sun, heat, humdity or even the crowds get to you.

then come back that early evening - when it is colder and everyone else is leaving...

be sure to take a nap during your break. some times the MK does not close until midnight - so EMH could go until 3am.

here is july hours

I live here, (and have for 20 yrs) and either Al Gore is correct, or I'm getting to fat to stand the heat!:lmao:
We try to avoid July if at all possible.
The crowds are huge (obviously because school is out) and the weather is unforgiving.
Just my opinion.
You might enjoy the unofficial guide to Disney book if you don't already own it.
It gives you crowd statistics and other useful info (such as a touring plan of each park) and I must say the results if you follow it are most impressive.

If you do come in July. Go early, take a break mid day and resume after 7pm and drink lots of water.
It's like running a mini marathon:rotfl:

I just love WDW on the 4th! GO and follow the advise you got here!!Have a great trip!!!! :goofy:

we went last july from the 1-10th and had a great time. It was hot and there were people but it was fun and we had a good time. I would do it again.

The website of the unoffical guide says crowds are a 9 for most of July, so pretty crowded. But if there's any place that can handle a crowd, it's Disney. And if there are people you want to be in a crowd with, it's Disney-goers!

I can only go in the summers, and my last trip was in July. Go mornings, take a break, and go back in the evening. We'd leave by 2 and go back around dinner time, usually for a table service ADR. Then tour after dinner. This time of year, a hopper pass may be also invaluable if you find one park simply too packed.

We go to WDW each July. It is very crowded. I cannot imagine doing the parks at this time of year without the hopper feature. You'll be glad you have it. :thumbsup2
