July Super Goofs challenge thread

20.4 miles, 1:28:00 on the bike.

1.5 mile, about 15 minute brick run.

Boy is it hot today!

Rode for 2 hours yesterday

Today was a LTO workout. 5 miles on the road and on the tread mill. 2 miles at Bella pace (26.11- I forgot to stop the timer during her 3 potty breaks) Finished off with three miles on the treadmill at 3.10 in 40.05. I had to stop and deal with the kidlets and take a few work calls during that time! When it's all added up- I stink today (in more ways than one)!

I have misplaced my favorite running shoes with my nike thing in them. Fingers crossed that I find them!

Hi there super goofs!!!

my knee has been a little sore from hockey so I decided to rest today, so no running for me today.

Wednesday's totals

Time: 90 min
Miles: 3.5

Did stretch class, and then got on the elliptical.

HI

Sorry I have not posted of late. 2 days with no exercise, mon and tues. and then well...

Thursday 50 minutes total time. 40 minutes of which was 3.3 miles, which felt absolutely great. I really felt like I was running (as opposed to jogging) for the first half.

Lynn

Ack! It was H-O-T out tonight. :crazy2:

Thursday, July 10:

I did 3.25 miles, 45 minutes

Steve: Same

Good morning Goofs. Last chance workout day. You know you want to!!!!!!

I got my 7 in last night. They were slow at a 10:45 pace due to the 85 degree heat. I wish I could run earlier when it was cooler but job constraints such as they are, I am an afternoon/evening runner. Softball and baseball celebration got in the way of that.

On the up side, I will be able to go to DD13 softball tourney this weekend. We only have 800 bales of hay down this time to pick up this afternoon. Yay!!! This should be it....until second crop in August. :sad2: I will forego my 4 miles this afternoon in lieu of about 4-5 hours of haying...again... I got 19 foot miles in this week so I am not going to complain...much...:rolleyes1

Get out there and get those miles/minutes in today Goofs. I am counting on all of you to pick up my slack!! I have no miles reported for the following: Cruella de mom, Disneyluv, FloridaGirl, Uptown_girl44, Jimmduck, and ArelysAdriana. The rest of you have reported some miles this week and we all surely appreciate it (especially me :goodvibes ).

Spreadsheet update on Monday so any miles/minutes up until tomorrow, be sure to get those in. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

7/8
2 miles/32 mins

7/9
1 mile/16 mins

7/10
3 miles/47 mins
...sad run, my Garmin decided not to run anymore...it will turn on, and start tracking, but then freeze up, and the only way to get it going is to take the batteries out and put 'em back in, it'll run for a bit, then freeze again. I tried fresh batteries, but it didnt seem to help.

Just back from the pool. 40 minutes of swimming, drills and exercises (leg strengthening) for a total of .625 miles.

Happy weekend everyone!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I have been awol for so long. Sick kids completely screw with your schedule!

DD is still fighting fevers and has now had reactions to her "designer" antibiotics. Fun fun. She doesn't feel too bad most of the time but we have to watch her like a hawk and record everything she eats drinks or touches. We watch a lot of movies and do jigsaw puzzles. exciting summer eh? We are taking her to Johns Hopkins next Thursday to see yet another specialist. He heard about her case from my dad's oncologist and called her doctor here. He "loves" difficult cases.

Anyway, I am running a little but its tough with my schedule so out of whack. And I have NO time on the computer at all. I have no idea how long we will be in Baltimore or how much I will get to run. They said come prepared to stay all weekend. Somehow I think the only running I will do is in the car.

So I think I was last on on July 4th. Hmm. Lisa I am just going to give you the total and not worry about posting each workout. They are pathetic anyway. This includes my run on the 4th. I can't remember if I posted it or not.

total run: 21.1 total time: 3:30:04
weight work outs total time: 1:20:00

Cecilia

Cecilia - for you and your daughter. I hope the specialist can get to the bottom of your daughter's illness and get her on the road to recovery soon. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't have a lot to report tonight. I went to my small gym to work out with weights. Unfortunately, there were a lot of body builders there on the equipment screaming and grunting and I just had to leave. I did manage to get in a couple of miles on the bike and a few machines before I left.

Friday, July 11:

Susie: 2 miles, 30 minutes

Steve: 15 miles, 1 hour

1:55:00 bike,34 miles.

Last two days of long workouts, then taper week for the tri.

Hopefully, I'll be able to put up 70.3 miles next Sunday!

Hi Goofs,

100 total exercise time today.

I ran inside on the TM and managed 3.3 minutes in 45 minutes, (ugH) Can I say I do not like running inside now? The rest of the time was strength training and ab work with my bean.

The humidity is supposed to be way down tomorrow and hope to get an outside run in.

Cecilia: So sorry to hear about hw your summer is going. Prayers and thoughts for your daughter's illness.

Lynn

I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't run outside today with the heat index being 105 degrees. :crazy2: So, instead, I ran on the dreadmill.

Saturday, July 12:

Susie: 6 miles, 1.5 hours

Steve: Mowed 3 lawns, 4 hours - does this count? :teeth:
Edit to add: 2 hours on push lawn mower.

10.18 miles in 2:09. Super slug time but I did the first 5 outside with my Gallowalker (or should I say Gallo-pee-er) Bella Buttercup. I am threatening not to take her anymore!
The next half was on the treadmill. It is so much fun having to get off several times to deal with squabbling kids!
Enjoy the day- so nice out right now!

Hi

120 minutes work out time today.. Do not have miles, was mowing the law and forgot my pedometer.
