Ok i need your help please

We are trying to plan our upcoming trip to DLP but cant decide when to go

There are 6 of us - 4 adults and my ds (7) and dd (3) Me, my hubby and our 2 kids have been in Sept before and found it lovely plus it will be cheaper, not as busy and when we last went the weather was perfect

But we're thinking of July because of the longer park times and fireworks plus the weather will be warmer BUT it will be busier and obviously there is a price difference :scared1:

When would you choose? July or September?

:thumbsup2

September . Why
1 :less crowded what makes a huge diffrents when you take kids who hate to waith in the long lines .
2:The price you can take that extra cash to the parcs .
3 : The weather is not to bad july can be very hot .
4 : You will see everything you want not once but twice .
5 : After parcs closes you can enjoy the hotel take a swim i love sequoia lodge they have a great bar and pool for kids .

September for sure! crowds will be very low, prices will be cheaper, the only downside is no fireworks - but due to the rather annoying hgiht restrictions placed on DLP the fireworks are not all that anyway.

I vote fro September too :goodvibes

IMO the crowds spoil most of the fun!!

Yeah think you are all right - September would be best for us, My dd is only 3 and i doubt very much she would make it to 10pm to watch the fireworks anyway

We're thinking of booking the cheyenne but 2 seperate rooms and we hoping to do 7 days 6 nights (depending on price obviously)

Does the price change much year to year?

Thanks :wizard:

I would vote for September as well. Nothing like having the park to yourself :cool1:

Having done the summer a couple of times now, the crowds and staggered attraction closing just kills the magic for me.

From what people have been saying recently, it sounds like early October is a great time to go as well.

i dread too think how busy the summer crowds are because i thought it was rather busy when we went in september
