July Member Event on each coast

Unfortunately we're going to miss the GC event by three days. That one looks extremely cool.

Interesting. The price isn't bad. The description does not say anything about parking or transportation. I suspect there will be high security to prevent people from parking at CR and BLT, but it seems like parking should be available, since this is a private party. We will be at WDW that evening, but I have some concerns about the quality of the fireworks view from that location, particularly since I have been underwhelmed with watching Wishes from TOTWL. Our current plan is to have dinner at MK that night and then find a spot on the hub or Main Street for a view of the show. All along, I have been dreading the crowds and the rush to get out of MK that evening, so it would be nice to have a venue that is less crowded. Too bad they are not having this event on one of the Ferries or a land location with a more direct view.

The fireworks view there is ok, but wouldn't be the first choice if there were other options. I've experienced it a couple of times with convention receptions.

We're staying at BLT specifically to see the July 3rd fireworks from TTOTW. I like the view from up there. I'll pass on this, but another time I would be interested.

This just seems really pointless to me, but maybe that's because we have AP's and are staying at BLT. I plan to be inside the park on the 3rd. If my family can't take the crowds, we'll watch from the Top of the World Lounge.

I mean, seriously, who is the target market here? If you're just showing up to watch the fireworks, there are quite a few free places to do that.

I'm actually looking for a place for my family to watch MK fireworks on the 3d or 4th. We want to avoid crowds since we'll have 8 month-old with us and have to travel back to BWV. This might be an option, but $35 for dessert is a bit much for people that don't do dessert parties.

I assume we're blocked out of TOWL since we're not staying that day. Any other suggestions?
