I am planning on surprising my grandparents with a trip to DL for their 45th anniversary (2008). My DGM will be 65 and my DGF will be 70. I know most likely we will have to rent an ecv for my DGM because she has knee, back, and ankle problems but my DGF is very active. I know we'll have to take it slow and not ride all the fast rides but I'm cool with that because I'm not really a SM fan but I will miss BTMRR.

Anyways, their anniversary is July 11th which is a Sunday. Is that a good day to visit DL, especially in the summer? Or should I wait until Monday? I know most likely it will be SO hot :sad2: . This year it was in the 100s by my house inland, hopefully less since Anaheim is closer to the coast.

weekends are always busy. But July is blocked out for local Ap holders. It will be busy and hot just be aware.

We have been 4 times at this time and the temperature is always the same - in the high 80's, low 90's. Crowds are relavent every day of the week, but you'll be able to move better on the Monday, rather than a Saturday.
