I had planned my park days and ADRs for the day after EMHs to avoid crowds. Of course, Disney is now filling up all those dates with EMM at the same park. I hadn't planned to book any of these because while we love HS we love RnR and ToT and will hope to get a FP for SDD. Will we be okay if we RD RnR and ToT at HS or Adventureland and Frontier Land on these EMMs, or will everyone be there by RD after riding the EMM rides. (That's a lot of acronyms!)
We've been to Disney World many times and generally do well with planning, but having to account for the EMMs in addition to EMHs during mid-summer is new thing for us. We went to Disneyland for the last two years and I don't remember all these special events in 2016.
