Iposted this on Disney tips by mistake so I hope this is the correct place!!!!
I am looking for the link to the site which shows you what weeks are busier, slower etc... I have been to WDW tons of times but never during the highest of the high seasons- I want to take my DD (18) July 25TH for a few days, I know it will be very busy, however we are up and out early and take a break during the day and head back later for the evening- Am I crazy???? We can't go any other time since she's leaving for college Aug. 13 and has camps earlier in the summer- What do you guys think????

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or not:

I think it would be a neat trip for the 2 of you. We went in mid-July 2003, and while it was busy we did fine. We ended up staying up late, sleeping in and enjoying the resort pool at CSR during the day. Then we'd nap or rest and head to the parks in the late afternoon and stay up late again.

I think it would work as long as you utilize FP if riding alot is important and just know what you can/can't accomplish in your trip.

GL!

Going to be fine if you follow touring schedule you mentioned in your post.Take your your breaks in the hottest part of day and don't forget to drink plenty of water. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

I think you will be fine. We have gone over the 4th of July, and it was actually LESS crowded then, than when we went in Aug 2 years later! It was July '01, so no 9/11 influence yet...and the Aug trip was 8/6-8/13...I know we had the 4/3 fairytale (I think) package then...so it was probably more crowded due to that great deal, but still, we felt it was WAY more crowded then. It is hot tho, and I love Fl summers..and pack plenty of those ponchos...we used them every afternoon. Sounds like a great trip for you and your DD.

Thanks for the link welovedis that is kinda what I am looking for but I saw one here that had a number that corresponded with the attendence level- 1 being the slowest time and 10 being the highest- anyone know what I'm taking about?
Thanks for the uplifting comments- I really want to go have some mom /daughter fun before she heads off and we both love WDW.

I think this may help you: www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm It has the all the days of the year listed with a number as to how busy it will be. I'll be there at the same time, 7/27 to 8/3. I know I'm crazy, but its the only time we can get there. :cool1:

Take it slow and have fun! :cool1:
