No Docs here!!! Mine went to my TA first (they have everyother time) and then they send them out. If I don't get them by Thurs, I'm going to call. We leave a week from Sat!! YIPPEE!!!!!

I check this board several times a day for any new information and I agree that there just isn't enough traffic. Since I am new and most of you seem to "know" each other, I thought I'd introduce myself and hope that you will as well.

I'm Linda and I'm traveling with DD Georgia (5 1/2). My folks and two other families are going as well. This cruise has been planned for over a year and is my first Disney cruise although I have cruised other lines before. I have lots to celebrate since I have just finished with my treatments for breast cancer. I'm mostly bald but adorable.

I'm from Southern California and am trying hard to get out of the No Docs CLub. OK, anyone else?

Welcome Linda! We have a lot in common. I finished my breast cancer treatments last Fall and I'm pretty much bald myself, although I can't say that my hair hasn't grown back, though. I just loved my wig so much more than my awful hair, and people keep telling me I look 20 years younger in it, that I keep shaving my hair short and wearing the wig. In fact, I just got a new, 2nd wig, yesterday and everyone loves it! It's so much easier and time-saving. I had to get a "special" swimsuit this past weekend for the cruise, as I had a mastectomy last year.

We didn't get to go on a vacation last year due to the surgery, chemo and radiation treatments. We do have a lot to celebrate, don't we? Plus my DH (Stu) and I are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary on the Monday of the cruise (7/11).

So glad you can join our merry DIS group. Looking forward to meeting you.

Linda, that is so great. What a wonderful way to celebrate! My friend just got finished with treatment and surgeries and I have to say I like her hair better now. It came back a little curly and is a little darker. It is so cute.

OK...I think I am going to officially cancel the Cabo Beach Break that I have booked through DCL and just go it on my own. Someone just replied to a thread I started and she had just done that excursion. It's not at a resort...it's at a restaurant called the Tabasco Beach Club in front of the Club Cascadas Hotel. I checked it out online and was not impressed. The DCL excursion gives you 2 free drink coupons and some chips and salsa. I don't think it's worth it for us. Also...it's too far from where we have our parasailing booked (on the beach in front of the Hacienda Hotel through JT Watersports). So I think we'll be taking a water taxi over to the Hacienda Hotel on Medano Beach and hanging out there. We're going parasailing...possibly renting waverunners...playing at the beach. They have several restaurants at the Hacienda...one on the beach, I think. If we don't like any of those for lunch, maybe we'll head down to the Office or the Mango Deck. What is everyone else thinking for Cabo?

Okay now I was ok with No Cal and real Southern Cal getting theirs but Kim lives like 2 miles from me. I WANT MY DOCS! My poor husband. I made him come home during his split just in case they arrived. All that gas wasted but I was working late and didn't want to miss them. Oh well there's always tomorrow!!!

We got our docs! Only my Family, 3 of us, out of our 18, got them so far and they are all being sent to the same address....wierd, huh?

Kim, after talking with my friend who just went to Cabo, we're either going to the Melia or The Mango/The Office. It sounds like a lot of fun and a lot less expensive. We'll just take a water taxi over there. I would also like to go shopping in Cabo and I don't know if you take a regular taxi to town or what.

We are doing our own thing in Cabo also. Probably going to the Mango Deck and looking for somewhere to rent Jet Skiis and possibly parasail.

Our parasailing in Cabo is early, so maybe we'll head down to look for everyone after that at the Mango Deck/Melia. It sounds like it'll be a relaxing day!

I'm a little stressed about our Palo dinner reservation! I made it for Wednesday night...which used to be the night of WWTBAM...but now it's the night of Twice Charmed, the new stage show that we don't want to miss!!! I know they've been offering a matinee, but that means we'll have to be back early from Mazatlan to see the 2:00 show! Ugh!

Well, I'm still waiting for my docs. Patiently (and it's a virtue, right). I think it has something to do with that upgrade to a Category 2 Concierge. Disney's wanting to make it happen, aren't they?! Now reality sets in.....
