July 9th 2005 - West Coast Cruise.

Sorry if I sent the master list out twice. Was having some trouble with the list. I think I accidentally sent out a some email addresses under Cc instead of Bcc. Everyone be good and delete those addresses. I have a suprising amount of info regarding this group I have gathered. I omitted cell numbers, emails and bank pin numbers. If you don't want to automatically receive the list whenever it is updated, PM me. Otherwise, if you received todays update, then you are on the list for automatic updates.

Craig,
Were you PM the list or how did we get it? I didn't get a copy. Are we doing emails or what info do you need for me to get a copy?

Hey...for anyone who was interested in the dolphins and wasn't able to book...I noticed today on the website that DCL added a 4:00 p.m. time and they had all options available: encounter, kids encounter, and swim.

Craig...thanks for the list!

WHERE ARE MY DOCS!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Kim :flower:

Sheila,
You mean Brown drove right by my house and left docs at yours? Are you sure they aren't mine? Just kidding. Congrats! Like Sara said, at least you know you're going.I went to a neighbor's last night and just held her docs. They leave next week and she hasn't booked excursions or filled out her docs or anything. Me? I was drooling. {sigh} Just incurable, I guess Oh, and I'll have Navigators from this week's cruise by Tuesday or Wed of next week thanks to "CACruzin' " (My friend, Anna - whose DIS board wasn't even going to have a meet until a few days ago :earseek: )

Everyone, don't forget that I bought a boat-load of magnets to give out at the sailaway. It will make it so much easier to identify staterooms for that 2:00 am game of ding-dong ditch I was planning. :rotfl2:

Has anyone seen the small almost-hand-held power blender that crushes ice instantly for , oh I-don't-know.... maybe ...... adult beverages? Supposedly it's battery powered and makes two drinks per batch. Perfect when some want a strawbery "something" and some want a blended "something" on the rocks w/ no salt :rolleyes1 . Just wondering if anyone had such a gizmo ....

Cheri--what a wonderful gizmo. I'm sorry I don't have one.

Kim--thanks for the heads-up for the dolphin swim. That sounds like so much fun, but it seems a little late in the day. I'll have to see what time it gets back. Maybe someone will cancel their earlier one and we can grab one of those times. Maybe...

Schools Out!

Cheri - that sounds like a cool tool!

Val - congratulations on getting your docs!

I can't believe how close we are getting. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I think the people at work are getting tired of hearing me talk about my upcoming vacation. It's a good thing you guys understand. :grouphug:

Anyone that may know about the beaches we are visiting in Mexico, my DSs 10 & 16 want to bring their Skim Boards. Does anyone know if this is not allowed at the Mexico Beaches?

My plan is not to fly out to CA with them, I will probably pick-up two cheap ones in the Anaheim area and leave them in CA if Jet Blue will not let me bring home.

Any input would be appreciated ! I do not want to buy if Eric and Matt can not use.

Chris/Cheri, did your neighbors/friends go yet? This would be a good question for them if they are home by the 2nd. That is when we are heading west! Also looking for 1st hand critique!

Later.

Days Rooms in LAX area?

I thought we discussed but I can not find.

I know they exist in the Cocoa Beach area. We are traveling with three other families. We got great flights home on the 16th, think they are 2pm from Long Beach. All of the others are on the "red-eye" flights leaving LA around 10pm.

Does anyone know if any of the LAX airports offer a "Day Room" that would be good for 9, 10, 11, 13 year olds?

I am getting all of my questions in on one day.

Craig- I sent you a PM looking for the list! Please add me to your email list!

Revised: just sent you another PM with our stateroom number, dining rotation and seating info.

THANKS.

Congrats, Val! [whine]Where are mine {whine}

gimmie, gimmie, gimmie :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Hope they come or everyone is gonna be buying they're own SAD's ( :sad2: and that work to get to 90 pages!!!)

I will ask both sets of friends if they saw any cruisers with skim boards or boogie boards at the beaches. They will be back by 6/25 and 7/1.

Cruisin', re: "day rooms" maybe go see the Queen Mary rather than trek up to LAX if you are flying out of Long Beach airport. You never know when there where will tons of traffic. LAX and Long Beach airports can be 20 minutes or 40 mintues apart if there is an accident. Just an idea. I've been burned in LA traffic too many times to take a chance on missing a flight.

oh, forgot to ask .... OK, great Disney guru's .....
rumor has it that the soda station on deck 9 has been removed due to sanitarty reasons. My friends are leaving next week and are concerned that this rumor might be fact.

:confused3

While I'm at it: my "Annual Passport Holders" calandar said that Sleeping Beauty's Castle draw bridge was only lifted once after installation - in the mid-1980's. Anyone know why? :confused3 Just curious.

I know I'm old and forgetful, but what the heck is a ding-dong ditch?! :confused3

The opening of the re-vamped Fantasyland was in 1983. I think that they used the drawbridge for that.

Oh my god, a senior moment... Do you mean you never rang your neighbor's doorbell and then ran just far enough away to laugh at him/her? Maybe it's that sheltered life you lead - you must need more thongs in your life :duck:

I'm answering my own question! I love that we have soooo many 'big kids' on this cruise. And just to be on the safe side, I'm sharing my magnets with those occupying staterooms near mine.

I hope the rumor is not true. If I can't have diet coke at my fingertips whenever, I am going to get ugly. You don't want to see me first thing in the morning w/o my diet coke. Please let us know as soon as you hear anything.
