The email sent to me said 105, but the post says 90. Which is it?

Doesn't DCL usually send out some info about that before the cruise? It seems to me I usually get a package in the mail a couple of months before.

If you log onto your reservation online, the date will be there..

It is 90, I caught my mistake as I was posting. You must have seen it before I made the change

April 7 is my shore excursion date. Sigh. I thought it would be March.

The Dover excursions confuse me. I would like to take the Leeds one as it looks really interesting and also is a nice and relaxing way to get back to London.

However, if the availability is limited and you can only book onboard, how are you supposed to make plans in case they sell out before you have a chance to get there?

Anyone have ideas on that?

woohoo...PAID IN FULL!!!!!!:cool1::woohoo::yay::banana::goodvibes

Did you do the dance?

The broke dance that is:dance3:

I got a refund cuz we canceled our DD BFF...But already spent 1/2 on furnace repairs! :confused3 We needed another cold air return put in. Hopefully the house will warm up to 67 now! I would like to hang whoever installed the ducts in this house....

Ok, I have a question about how people plan to handle dressing for the formal night(s) on the cruise. Relatively easy for me, as I will pack a nice dress. What about for DH? Do most men just bring a jacket? Will people rent tuxes? Not sure which way to go on this, as we have never been on a cruise long enough to have a formal night beforehand. Also, does anyone know how many formal nights there will be on our cruise? Thanks!

I understand from people that were on previous Med cruises that there were fewer people really dressed up than on the typical 3/4/7 day cruise. I was thinking about bringing a couple pairs of slacks, shirts, a sport coat and mixing and matching. Because we are committed to packing light I might spend the $ and send my dress shirts out to be laundered mid-cruise.

DH brought his tux on our last cruise (14 day) but we are determined to pack much less this trip. We are doing quite a bit of traveling pre-cruise and there's no need to make that more difficult. He will bring a jacket. :lovestruc

My DH is just going to bring one suit and change around the dress shirts and ties. There will be 2 formal nights and 2 semi formal. Some do rent tuxes not very many though that I have seen.

There is only 1 formal & 2 semi-formal. Stole this from the other cruise thread :)

oops you are right. We stole from the same thread, and I just misread. Didn't Captains Gala used to be Formal? Oh well, one less dress for me to pack. With that being said which rotation do you guys think? I am still debating if I want 1st or 2nd seating. Since we aren't traveling with the kids, we were leaning towards 2nd, but I am just not used to eating so late.

Thanks for all of the replies. My DH was leaning toward renting a tux, but he may not want to, if he will be the only one in a penguin suit (although he does look very nice in one!).

Thanks... on Med. cruise the airline misplaced our luggage that had dh's suit and my formal dress in it. So, we obviously did not dress up. He did end up buying 1 pair of slacks and 2 dress shirts and I bought a black dress for the cruise. I'd say even those that had their luggage didn't have on suits. It was a lot less than on a 7 day cruise. Don't get me wrong most were dressed nicely but I wouldn't go out of my way to bring a tux. Now, with more luggage restrictions I doubt we'll be bringing a tux this time. I don't even know if I want to do Fish extenders. We'll be in London 5 nights prior to the cruise and I'm probably going to save room for clothes.

We're usually 1st sitting diners with DS3 in tow, but have decided to go 2nd on this trip. On our typical Disney cruise the boat is the attraction. On this cruise we plan on really exploring the ports and don't want to feel pressured to get back on the ship for dinner.

We figure since most of the trip is spent traveling east dinner will just seem earlier and earlier, even to our son.

Hopefully this plan will work. We'll see.

We are sticking with 1st seating...we eat early at home..I'd never sleep if I ate so late! We may miss a meal or 2 due to excursions but that's ok. There's always a way to find food on that ship.:thumbsup2

I am in the process of getting quotes for a private tour in StP. The actual itinerary and cost are TBD. Right now I have 6 people committed and would like to add a few more to keep costs down. If your interested please PM me.
