Hello,

We are very excited to be coming on our second Disney Cruise.

We would like to join the FE. We have not been assign a room yet but will send it when we get it.

There are 5 of us, myself (Cindy), my husband (Joe) and our 3 boys James(turns 11 on cruise), Abraham (8), Elijah (6).

Is there a cap for how many families can join, or will you make 2 group?

We are counting down to sail date.

Welcome aboard! I told my 8 yr old son - more boys to play with!
We don't have a cap yet, but I imagine if we get many more, it would be good to split the group. We will likely lock them down 45-60 days out to allow crafting time for those who need it!

Must go back and read all your chats and dig into it all. Will be looking for where folks are staying and also if there's a FB page. Searched on FB itself, but nothing popped up.

As I was going through the earlier posts I noticed a query about how the arrival in Venice on night 11 works. I've been curious about that too. Has anyone found any information about how this will work? Is the ship merely in port for an administrative purpose? Will we be allowed to disembark? It's kind of interesting and different.

Looking at the port arrival times, I am thinking we are going to be allowed to go ashore. There is not much in terms of excursions for that time table either.

Bump!

We're getting so close now, are people getting excited?

We were able to book activities/excursion on Saturday morning, and everything still seems open. There are Palo brunches on both sea days. I was hoping there might be a third on day 9 as it is essentially a sea day, but no luck.

There are five excursions in Venice on the last night, each about 2-3 hours. None were full yet that I could tell.

There is no indication which nights will be formal, semi-formal and pirate night, but my best guess is night two will be formal, night seven (mykonos) will be pirate night, and night eight will be formal. Anybody able to track down specifics?

FE guidelines
Several folks have asked about splitting, cut offs, etc. Going with suggested FE guides on DISboard and personal experience on our last 3 cruise I would like to propose the following.

I think a group of 15-25 range is good, but am okay with a few more (we are currently at 22). So I would suggest if we make it to 30, we split the list into two? With many of us traveling overseas, I would also propose we cut-off 6 weeks ahead May 24 for signing up. This should allow everyone participating to have time to purchase/make/finalize their gifts.

Please let me know if this works as well as let me know if our list is up to date. I hope I haven't missed any additions recently! Looking forward to this summer - was looking for inspiration in Downtown Disney today!

The split & cut off date for the FE sounds great to me. Our booking window opened on the 22nd - got a Palo brunch booking, that's all I need to keep me happy!

Shawn 43(DH) Kyle 6(DS) and myself JaJa 42 will be coming with our friends and our family. Is there a cut off to the FE? We are just thawing out and finally got around to thinking of our cruise.
