July 5, 2011 - Mickey's WONDERful Alaskan Adventure

you have to call the pan pacific directly to book this far in advance as their prices are not in the system yet. I found this out when i book ours thru them. and they gave me 2010 prices for our stay in 2011 :thumbsup2.. so if you still want to book their call directly..i have their 800 number if anyone wants it.

Hi, I would love the phone number can you pm me with there number?

Does anyone know if they have transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Thanks

Patricia

The best number to call from the US is 1-800-937-1515. i will just post it here as well...this is the number for the Pan Pacific.. I spoke to Rory Schmidt.

No they do not have transportation from the airport to the hotel. We are doing the skyrail ?? which is about a 30 min ride to the dowtown area..my understanding is the drop off is fairly close to the terminal.

I checked again today and you can now book online. I may switch reservations over the weekend.

did you end up switching?

we have our flights booked now so from here on out its just a matter of paying for it all. well have one other hotel to book near the airport for the return home but that is minor. can't wait.

Not yet. Had a problem with the website and called their support office but never got a call back. We still have a little time. :)

Called today and booked the Pan Pacific for Saturday to Tuesday. I've also canceled our room at the Fairmont. Pan Pacific was our first choice so I went with it. Thanks Tracy for the hint to call. That worked much better than their website.

welcome...glad i could be of help

Ok ...anyone that is involved with the FE..i need a color choice from the following colors. i will need one color per person of your group.. the colors are purple, blue, pink, orange, yellow, green, and red. i do have lighter and darker versions of these as well so if there is a light or dark choice please say so. list colors with names please. i am getting a head start on my FE's now while i have some downtime to do so.

I love disboards! I had previously booked 2 rooms/3 nights at the Fairmont Waterfront through DCL. Just called the Pan Pacific. With a AAA discount, I saved $100 per night per room, for a total of $600 in savings (vs. what I was paying at the Fairmont)! Plus they guaranteed me connecting rooms for my family of 5 which DCL/Fairmont couldn't do. woo-hoo!!!! :woohoo: Thanks for the info everyone!!

Hello fellow cruisers, I hope everyone is doing well. :) I have not been posting here due to an illness in the family taking up some time. But I have been able to book our Vancouver hotel. We have alot of Marriott Points that we used to book the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle for Sat/Sun/Mon nights before the cruise. We used some extra points to get a upper floor/harbour view room. :)

I'm still waiting to book our air from Memphis - Delta has a nonstop flight on Saturday, but coming home on Tuesday it looks like we'll have a layover. So far the rates are more than I want to spend, but I would prefer that nonstop heading there so I may have to cough up the bucks! The cheapo in me decided to sign up for an Delta Airlines American Express card. I got an offer in the mail for a card with no fee the first year, 25k bonus miles for signing up, 4 free sky club passes, an $100 companion fare voucher each year, and using the card to book the flight gives us each a free checked bag per flight.
I pay off everything I charge at the end of the month so it sounded like a good deal to me. I figure the less I spend just to get there, the more I'll have to spend while there.

I'd like to join the FE exchange, if that's ok, what type of things are you all thinking of exchanging? I need ideas!

Also, is anyone interested in sharing a dining table? DH and I are second dining, and we don't bite, drool or act snotty, I swear! :cutie:
I can give references, if needed, lol. We made freinds on our Magic cruise back in 2005 and I think Nancy will still vouch for me and DH.

I am now going to read the pages and pages of this thread to get caught up!
Just pm me if you're interested. :)

got you marked for the FE. I dont have a problem adding you to our table if you dont mind sitting with our family of goofy people. we like to joke alot.. i think we all should request our table close together myself..lol we could have an area for our little ( ok maybe large) group.

I love perdidobay's comment on why she'd be a delightful dining companion! :lmao:

Are we the only DISers with early/main dining? The men in my family get a bit cranky if they eat too late. The woman in my family ends up eating two dinners with late dining (or eating extra ice cream from Pluto's)

We're early dining! We did late dining on the wedding cruise because that's what all our friends were doing but we're more than happy to be moving back to early.

If anyone wants to link up we'd be interested.

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Goofy, did someone say goofy?! Why, my middle name is goofy.

If you are second (or late, whatever they call it) dining, and don't mind two 50 somethings sitting at the same table with you, I'd love to share a table with you and your family.

It would be great wouldn't it, if all the dis members on the cruise were all sitting at adjacent tables.

yep we are late dining...how do we go about linking you to ours?ok i am going to send an email to our TA and ask her how we can link our reservations together..i know they have already linked my parents to ours. we have an 8 yr old, 41 yr old, 48 yr old , 56 yr old and 70 yr old. so nope adding two more 50 somethings wouldnt bother us at all..

and yeah it would...shoudl we all start linking all our dining together now so we can sit all in one area?:grouphug:

Thank you Tracy, back at you. It has been getting easier for me to deal with, it was the trip to see her that was so hard, for all of us involved.

As for what we need to do to link ressies, I think based on past cruises, if we both contact our TA's or DCL directly and give the names and cabin # of who we'd like to sit with they will arrange it. If anyone can chime in hear and let me know if that's what we need to do I'd appreciate it!
