Do you think there will be anything special for July 4th? I have only been around since March, so all I know about last year is that they released the blue furniture for one day only. Did they say anything about that before the actual day? There is nothing on the calendar for the holiday this year...

It's supposed to be religious, but society has changed that.
Now it's a bunny and some candy filled eggs, to most people.

They released for Christmas and Hannukah, didn't they?

Also... isn't July 4th a political holiday? They have a problem with political things, too.

Yes they did release for christmas and hannukah. Which are also considered religious holidays.

Halloween also has roots as a religious holiday but we won't get into that.. maybe there will be another parade!! and a fireworks show too where all players with fireworks magic line up in castle gardens and shoot them all off! wouldn't that be so awesome! (being facetious) lol maybe a chair that when you click it, it blows up!

Some people who play VMK live in Canada and other parts of the world, so July 4th isn't a holiday for them. I don't know if they will give out anything or not because of that..

Along the lines of the aforementioned exploding chair, I'd love to see a big ole red firecracker - like a piece of furniture. When you click on it, the fuse would sparkle and it'd make an exploding sound.

VMK is based in Disneyland and Disney World.

Disneyland and Disney World are based in California and Florida, respectively.

California and Florida are based in the US.

Thus, no special thing for July 4th is kinda wierd.



I don't see why they wouldn't release Fireworks related stuff. Or making it incredibly easy to win a Fireworks pin on only that day.

EDIT: Wouldn't that be a 'blast'? A Quest (much like the Pirate Quest) for a single Fireworks Pin? Can you say 'mule and 5-star'?

i'll try, depending on how much i'm on. i really hope they don't do anything too big bc July 4 is a day for family and friends (not trying to sound cheesy), and i plan on spending like the whole day with my family. something small would be fine, bc i'm sure i could stop by vmk for a few minutes.

no actually Halloween historically was a holiday to mourn souls of the dead and to wish them safe passage to the afterlife.. not really "anti-Christ"
also vmk is not entirely based on the US disney parks.. in the fireworks game, on the tomorrowland screen the 20,000 leagues building with the huge telescope is from Tokyo's Disney Seas this building again shows up multiple times as it's own "planet" and can be found in the tomorrowland hub, and i think one or both of the Autopia speedways (not the driving school)

So much of Disneyland/Magic Kingdom is based on Americana, it would be weird not to have something for The 4th of July. Walt was very patriotic.

The building in the Tomorrowland level is based on Disneyland Paris' Space Mountain. Tha castle is also from Disneyland Paris.
