July 4th parking at epcot

We are hoping to go to epcot for the fireworks on July 4th. The only thing putting us off is the possible age it could take to get back to the Pop Resort afterwards. Any parking or transportation tips are extremely appreciated. Off to Busch early next morning, so don't want too much of a late one.

Well it will be packed. They show the July 4th fireworks at MK on both the 3rd and the 4th(3rd much much less crowded. Now for Epcot- we like to spend the 4th here. It might be in your best interest to travel by monorail to the TTC to get back to Pop but as we have not ever stayed there I am sorry I can't help you any more than that. I really just wanted to say I applaud your PLANNING!!!

We spent the 4th at EPCOT this past July. We drove our own vehicle and parked in the regular parking lot and it really was no trouble parking or getting back to our hotel (All-Star Music). I would avoid the busses at all costs if possible. The waits can be extremely long and they are usually jammed like sardines on any holiday like that!

Okey dokey. Thanks very much for your advice. Does the way that the parking works mean that the earlier you park, the quicker you can get out, or the opposite? We have always been dropped off by bus before.

Be prepared for a long wait to get out of the Epcot parking lot. The earlier you get there means you will be waiting longer to get out of the park after the fireworks.

Okay. Just need to find out what time the festivities begin, then plan to get there 1hr before as I believe the fireworks come from near the USA section, so will probably see just as much slightly away from the lagoon. Can make a sly exit too. Sound like a good idea?
