July 4th golf cart parade

We plan on participating in the parade during our visit. Are we allowed to toss candy and beads to the spectators? Thanks

I was watching a you tube video of the Halloween parade and someone was tossing beads to the crowd. I'm not sure about the Fourth of July one
Though but I think it would be the same. i hope so anyway!
