July 4th Dining ?

I currently have ADRs 11:30 for CP on 7/4. I hate to admit it, but my kids really are just not into Pooh and friends, but adore Mickey, Goofy, etc. I am able to get 11:20 ADRs for CM's breakfast. I think the kids would like this but I am wondering if

1)the breaksfast would be "old" (for lack of a better word) at the end of the meal time and

2) if we would be really rushed and not have time with the characters since it is the end of the breakfast hours.

We will be at MK before 8 for RD that morning and were planning on leaving for the afternoon just after lunch.

The food will not be old. They do not break the buffet until the last Guest has left.

The characters are there for at least an hour after the last Guest is seated, and possibly as long as until the last Guest has left.

And since there are fewer people, you will actually get more character time.

Note this policy is the same at all the character retaurants.

Thanks. I changed my ADR to CM. I think it will be perfect for our first day.
