July 4th Blackout date for DDE?

Is this at all resturants? Is is strictly enforced? It is our sons 18th birthday and we have several TS meals planned. We have had the card for several years and have never been at WDW during anactual holiday, so it just occurred to me that the 4th is a blackout date! Bummer!

The DDE card is not useable anywhere on the 4th of July. Yes, it's enforced.

You have several TS meals on that one day? Or are you including surrounding days? The blackout date is only the holiday itself.

Yes, we do have 2 TS meals planned for that day, it is our son's 18th birthday so we thought we would go to 50's for lunch and then we are trying The Wave for dinner. We will still go ahead with our plans, but thank you for confirming (well, I GUESS thank you ) he he
