July 30 Western - 8 yr DD wants to meet friend

We're sailing on 7/30 west coast. Our DD 8 yrs is only child. She'd like to make a friend to buddy up with. Anybody else have an only 8 yr girl or one looking to get away from a brother for awhile? <g>

Hi! I'm from the July 30th thread also, the Lucy mentioned above. We're cruising with three other families and one of the families has a DD who's 8 but they don't read these boards. Anyway, the 8 (she'll be 9 in February) year old's name is Kali and she'll be in the Oceaner's lab. She has a younger brother who's almost 7 and of the 8 kids in our group (not from the thread, but from the group I'm cruising with), there are only 2 girls so I'm sure Kali would love to meet her. I know they're planning on bringing their kids to the meet and greet at the clubs on the first night. What's your DDs name? I'll mention it to Kali so she can look for her.
