to disney fans. sorry, for taking soo long.
..we have went on every cruise we 've booked~sans the
..dummy bookings,
. so most likely we are going,
. [ not sure..of the final count..as we have 2 rooms
so far.] so i be "honor" to be included in your lil'group,
except remember..it's my wife..calling the shots,
...and...
, be prefect..if we are
lucky enugh...to have andrew..going with us. [ he was on the
pc cruise....and while we didn't get to meet in person, it were
his contributions..on the site...that helped us the most. ]
as for us?....me & my wife..are similar to the dyanmic duo,
trouble..has a way of "funding us"...which sorta goes a long
way..of explaining our kids.
in real life...she does nuclear med ...& i do mental health. funny
thing, those doing this work..are usually left alone.
in reality.., those neglecting their mental~health needs....are
missing out..on alot wonderful things..in life. also alot
of dangerous people..are escaping..detection..by hiding behind
silly acting people.
[ fyi~..on the pc cruise...there were alot..blaming directed @ the
teenagers...i strongly suspected...a few adults. ]
..i was forced..into this line of work..liked 17 years ago. the most
shocking thing...i discovered...how much...the dynamics..enriched
and better my own life. mental issues are in~deeds very concrete
& easy to understand. our profession are trying to reach out into
the community..because quite frankly, our school systems are
failing.
the most shocking..things on the pc cruise..weren't the kids..but
th adults. i couldn't believe..it..when andrew..was "pinned"..by
the walt disney's threater's doors..by the rushing crowds. or a
father..."dunking" his son..@
castaway cay..and nobody helped.
i
..my work. interacting..with others, is what i do. there were
quite a few..comments..made about how som women dressed, and
other intrusive remarks. some saw me as the beast. in reality, they
do not want someone.."pointing out" their true intentions. iam not
very big [ though my 2 sons..are 6'-5 & 6-6, 250lbers. ], and
look like..a cream puff. looks are deceiving. personally, i have
a low tolerance..for those who think they have the right..to hurt
others. some on the pc cruise....
, the hard ways.
..however, i think...
dcl cruises ...are alot fun. and we have never
regretted..a single one. i just don't see the fun...in hurting others.
in fact, those we see often...are putting others down..to feel good
about themselves.
i could be wrong..but i feel one of the most important factor, making up
a sucessful cruise..is not experiencing major problems with transportation.
table mates...can help or hurt the over all experience. [ we prefer
late..& on dcl, that's an advantage]. doing dcl...it pays to pay attention.
..& interact with the crew. there seem to be alot debates..over
dcl's children clubs. "hiding violations and prevention issues". * on the
pc cruise, one guest...was being too intrusive ..toward our daughter.
i used simple limit setting but we did not let her stay or used the clubs,
after that.
we also done..the 11 nighter, southern cruise, 2006. it was a beaute!
..we always enjoyed the disney's production shows. * ya kno?..the
cast..sometimes...like..mingling wth the guests?
..we are not drinkers..but will sample. we like interacting, and making
new friends. then there's the bonus baby. my wife,
she's amazing.., since we met..everyone/anyone..meeting her ,
would like to be her friend..then there's me..., lil'grumpy. ha! someone
..has to carry~on..the tradition, by walt ?
....*one of my favorite memory..cam from a table..with a young couple,
new to dcl cruising. if one paid attention, one could "see"..they wanted
to join..in. they were delightful...and had 2 beautiful kids.
...we met..another family..that had too many daughters..& wasn't
able to get those disney's stars [ ally & pj ] 's autopgraphs....for our
daughter, it was about the interacting..so we used guest services
to delivered ..ours. the father..was soo thrilled, he took the time to
track us down...to thanks us. to us, that 's the type od stuff..making
our cruise.
..i had a "nightly routine"...& one night...2 young ladies..stopped
me, " who's after you?!"....they joined me ..in my "pizza raid",
...something,i never got around telling the miss lil'cutie.
* a dcl cruise...to me..isn't about a "must ~do"...everything. rather,
"what are we going to discover this time?"....i've read..to many..doing
things..just to brag..rather than enjoy. some [as noted] to seek
out..and rain..on others' parades. [ ha! i hate working..on vacation..but
...i will]...some like andrew..are sincere and provide outstanding insights,
..& never think twice..helping anyone. i like..meeting those types!
...oh, we think..one of the funnier things..is "dressing up". i may be older,
and smell like "ben gay"...& needing spectales..but , fully~
functioning. & it's neat to show...apprication..to the one..thats been
sharing..my life with . [ not only..is snow white..her favorite..she
could been her. & while...i try to warn..the guests services' supervisor,
she still was
...when the ship snow white did a special
"meeting+greet"..and hand delivered...(the gift..that had to be delivered
by the wonder)..the day before,
. she told..her....i saw the
picture..of you on your pony, your husband right . ]. in the begining,
...she was under the impression.,..that we were meeting her for my
daughter...that snow white, had to pull her aside...& whispered she was
wanting to meet her. when it hit her, let just say..she shocked everyone
around.
what a beast! &..i can growl/sneer too,
anyway..those are pretty good examples..how we do dcl cruises,
and how we feel about them. pretty scary, huh? so d.fans?..you might
want..to reconsider adding..our names..is under-stand-able.]
