The calendar I am looking at shows the July 3 and 4 Fireworks show to be at 9pm with the parade at 10pm. All other nights the fireworks show is at 10pm with the parade at 9pm. Just curious if this is a typo or why is the fireworks show at 9pm?? Any help?? Trying to make plans, etc :)

That was the schedule last year, however the fireworks were delayed due to a storm (on the 3rd, I didn't brave MK on the 4th)

Thank you for the info!! Is it dark enough at 9pm?? Just seemed odd. Anyone else??

So, I know the closing time is likely to change, since MK is showing a close of 10:00 pm both days, which seems highly unlikely. The fireworks are set for 9:00 pm. Is that pretty likely to stay the same, or will that change as well?

Exactly what I would like to know also.

9PM is dark enough at ANY time of year.
(Even during Daylight Saving Time on June 21-23, the "longest" days of the year.)

That's why 9PM is the start-time of IllumiNations for most of the year.

I keep looking at the schedule for the 3rd and 4th and I am wondering about hours and show times, too. It is hard to plan FP and ADRs around a schedule that will unlikely stay the same. Seems so odd for the park to close some nights in early May at 2 am but have a July 4th closing of 10. I don't understand why, if they know they are going to extend the hours, don't they just go ahead and extend them. It is less than 60 days out now for many people who already have to make FP reservations. Why do park hours still list such an early close?

Not in the great state of Indiana where the idjets decided to not only restore DST but elected to stay on Eastern so it doesn't get dark until TEN! The sun is just now setting here! (8:30)

Hours were extended until 2 am on the 3rd last year, just a few days ahead of time.
