We just booked this cruise to complete a b2b We are also on the 5 day August 2nd cruise Family of 9

I have added your thread to the 2011 Dream Cruise Meet list...:thumbsup2

We are doing the exact same thing! B2B (this four night and then the five night August 2nd). Wow, 9 nights on the Dream!!! We can't wait!!!! We are a family of 6!

Just booked the the 7/29/11 sailing today with DVC points!!! (Myself DW49), DH54 and DD16. Will probably add a 2nt stay in WDW with points also, just need to decide if we want to do it before or after. There's time to kick that around. In the meantime, I'll be spending less time on the DVC forums and more time here!:thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner, We've had our back porch turned into a real room and it's been a very long month and quite the ordeal, TGID(Thank God it's Done) and everyone is out of here.

Hope to get to know everyone over the next 402 days Also booked both cruises on points!!!

We had to make a change to our 20th anniversary cruise that was booked for May 2010 and we switched it to this one, and now DD is joining us as well. Until I got through all the stuff that caused the cruise to need to be changed, I figured I'd refrain from posting. Now I'm certain this will happen so I can introduce myself!

Me, Sally third Disney Cruise

DH, Pat third cruise as well

DD, Sarah third cruise, first with no siblings!

We will be joining you on this cruise also! This will be our fourth Disney cruise. It will be 14 yr old DS, DW, and myself. It took my wife a long time to get me back on a ship after serving in the Navy but am glad she did. I am shooting for having as many days at sea on a Disney ship as I had on a Navy ship. I will have several more Disney cruises I will need to make to reach that goal but, as I tell my son, it's good to have goals.:woohoo:

Welcome, how time flies, down to 344 days The only one excited besides myself is the 3.5 year old grandson. Everybody else thinks it's still too far out. I guess I'm still a kid at heart, and love to cruise with our extended family. Just why we bought into DVC. Ship appears to be booked heavily all the ov's are gone. Looking forward to our Hawaiian cruise, 30 days to go. Then I can focus on looking at what's available in 2012.

This will be the first cruise for me, my DD (age 38) and GD (18). We are soooo excited. We will spend three days at Kidani Village before our cruise.

After seeing the news tonight about the Carnival ship, I am reminded why we all cruise with Disney.

243 How the time flies. My daughter had her first Thanksgiving dinner. We did the turkey(23.24lbs) and the stuffing(4 loaves of bread, I make the day before)

We got an email from a Japanese couple we shared a dinner table with(Magic) on the Mexican Riviera cruise in 2005 and they booked the Aug 2nd cruise to meet our family, we've kept in touch with them over the years and swapped Disney stuff. Have a lot of Disney stuff written in their langauge, really neat. Hopfully this finds you all in good health and spirits.

Put the Christmas tree up yesterday. About six more weeks till we leave for Florida got a nice four bedroom 2 bath house for the 3.5 months

Six inches of snow in Atlanta and ice on the roads. But, I see where the Disney Dream has arrived in FL.!!!:banana::banana:

We are getting more excited about this cruise now that the Dream is a reality!! I am loving all of these new pictures from the Dream. My family of 5 are doing this cruise B2B with the August 2nd 5Night. It will be me, DH, DS11, DD8 & DS6.

Joksten2000, it looks like we also sailed with you on the 2008 EB Panama cruise too!! That was such a great trip and it seems like forever ago, doesn't it? It is a small world too because we are in SJersey as well, close to Ocean City.

This cruise will be here before we know it.:boat:

Small world, we're in cabin 6166 maybe you can catch us in we'd enjoy seeing you. Can't believe it's only 187 days It seems like eons since we booked. The 2008 Panama Canal was a great cruise, everybody loved it. This will be the first cruise for our newest grandson Owen Quincy he'll turn two on 5th his 4 yo brother Ian Thomas will be on his third cruise.

We are now in Florida for the winter, glorious 73 degrees, actually got in the pool yesterday. Lots of visitors coming Daughter with the little ones in early Febuary. Thinking about the Fantasy in 2012. Wish the prices would come down.

Ok, this is getting even more of a coincidence!!! We are in connecting cabins 6677 & 6679 just round the corner from you. We should run into you at the elevators & stairs (my family is kind of easy to recognize, my oldest DS10 has Down syndrome )! These will be our 7th & 8th cruises and the first time we are getting inside cabins (trying to save a little bit of money;) ) so hopefully the virtual porthole will make us feel like we have a "view". It's also our first B2B. 4 or 5 days just didn't seem like enough time on the Dream.

I'm sure your grandsons will have a great time on the new ship! The new kid's clubs and pools look like so much fun.

I hope you keep the warm weather down in Florida because we are headed down at the end of February for the Princess 1/2 marathon.

Recently booked our first cruise on the Dream. I am so excited!!!
Myself and two kids; DD 11 and DS 7. I think I'm going to surprise them. We'll be in the Daytona area from July 23rd on. We have to be out of the place we are staying on the 30th, so I thought we'd just check out a day earlier and head down to Pt. Canaveral. I am looking at these boards everyday and planning!

Excited to have booked this cruise as we are celebrating a welcome home (military family), 20 year anniversary, birthdays (one being 16), 8th grade graduation, just a trip of milestones for our family! Enjoy the countdown, it'll be here b4 we all know it! :yay: PS..you first timers will LOVE IT!

We are down in Florida now, missed all the latest snow up north. Next week we'll buy our annual pass and start visiting WDW three or four times a week. The weather has been very comfortable and will go up to the mid 70's next week. A little chilly in the morning but gets warm by 10am. The grandkids will be down in 8 more days, there in a big countdown up there

On past cruises DD has made friends through these cruise meet threads before the cruise. It is nice if they can break the ice and have someone to hang in the clubs with. LMK if anyone has second seating for dinner and would like to do so. Of course all are welcome not just second seating, but that determines free time very often!
