My DH and I will be joining you! We are bringing our DD6 and her best buddy. This will be the first cruise for the girls. My DD has been to Disney 3 times, but her girlfriend has never been there.

DH and I have cruised before, but this is our first Disney cruise. We are so excited! We want to be sure to the fish extender swap also!

Any advice/info anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

I just cancelled today. We would still be paying airfare to get to NYC, and when I ran all the numbers, the itinerary didn't quite justify the cost for us. I asked about 2013 itineraries, and was told they still don't know where the Magic will be going.

We spent the last three weeks thinking seriously about cancelling, but after much number crunching and thinking about it, we know that we will leave the vacation completely satisfied and relaxed. And we can't find another option where we can say that.

This has been a very quiet thread. Are we going to have the whole ship to ourselves? I beginning to think that the people in the East are not aware of the Disnboards. We need to get this thread going. Usually by now there are pages and pages of posts. I don't know if there is enough people interested if someone wanted to organize a fish exchanger gift exchange.

Unfortunately we had to cancel this cruise.. just too expensive compared to other cruises we've been on...

Sorry you have to cancel the cruise. I know Disney is a little more expensive but if you give it a try you will see the extra Pixie Dust you get is worth it.

I still can't believe how quiet this thread is. I am beginning to think the people in the northeast are really not aware of the Disboards. I am from CT but have always been a Disney fan and heard about the Disboards years ago from a friend . I hope more people find this thread. The Disboards have really made our Disney cruises great. It feels good to walk into a room and know some of the people because of this board. On other cruises we had name tag lanyards with our Disboard name and real first name so we could easily recognize other Disboard members. Maybe after the holidays things will pick up.

We are booked! I decided on an inside cabin figuring that we won't spend too much time in the room. What floor should I try to request? I'm a little nervous about sea sickness. My Dh and I will be travelling with our 5 yr old twins!

We are surprising our grandchildren with this cruise on Christmas. We have beenbusy making a video with clues on it. Many of their gifts are Disney related. Can't wait to see their reactions.

I am interested in partaking, but as this is my first Disney Cruise, I am not too sure how to organize the whole thing. If someone can give me a cheat sheet on the "ins and outs" of organizing the event, I will give it a shot. Still not 100% sure I will be going though... should know by end of Jan.
