I understand and it makes sense, just didn't want the kids to miss out. Never cruised or FE'd before so want to get the most out of it.

I totally agree about the kid aspect, and maybe that could be a good solution if not too many sign up. Have a second item for the kids only. (or something to that effect).

We can definitely make the decision once it gets closer to the cruise. I made the cut off for June 15, so if we (the exchange group) decide to do it twice, it will give everyone enough time (hopefully!)

My only 'concern' about doing it twice is if anyone is flying to the port. Extra luggage space, extra cost etc.

New to FE - and had the same question, I guess we can always go with sports themes or music themes like iTunes and such. What is the value limit that each FE should be?

If I tell you I won't have anything to give!!! All kidding aside, I have read different suggestions on threads here... batteries, earbuds, gum, candy (shocker!) just to name a few.

usually the FE gift is something inexpensive and it depends on how mamy you have to get. Some are usually home made by people that are cleaver and crafty. On the Hawaiian cruise there are almost a 100 cabins with at least 2 people per cabin and almost 50 children so you have to try and keep the cost managable. This cruise so far has low cabins involved so it should not be too bad. Don't forget some people are flying and they have weight limits on the luggage.

Would anyone be against me sharing the FE information with a 'roll call' on another site that I am also subscribed?? Currently there is no FE started for that site, so maybe if we 'join' forces, we could increase the number of participating cabins?

Will someone please try to access the google doc for the FE exchange??? I am having issues w/ google and can't log into my account and when I click on the link, I get an error message. I HATE COMPUTERS!

Been off of this for a bit but checking in today. So please, please everyone on the FE...I don't want anyone to spend too much money on my 13 year olds. They are pretty easy going. No stressing please. They love GUM if that helps

Gum is a safe bet here. My youngest is allergic to milk and soy. He can only have dark chocolate (like hershey's special dark). Anything gummy is great too, who doesn't like gummy sea creatures and such?
