Ok, I called DCL, regarding Palo reservations. You have some options:
One person make a reservations for your party, up to 6 people.
If you have more than 6 in your party, then make two reservations and ask Palo to put the tables side by side.

Also, the person from the other threads warns people to recheck your Palo reservation number before you check out because her's switched back to default setting of 1/2 people and she had to go back and redo.

Andrew-

We were thinking of doing Pompeii, Sorento and Capri but from your comments I'm not sure. My daughter wants to go because she just learned about the Gardens of Augustus in AP Global class and wants to see them. My husband was to Capri twice when he was in the Navy many years ago and would like to go back.

Was the boat ride rough? Did you go on the jet-foil? Did you see the Blue Grotto?

Thanks!
Hi Wendy
I got your PM! I will visit the store the next time I'm in SI!!!I dont know which booth was yours, but I bet I was in it!!!! Are you going to be on this cruise- I thought I read you were not going??? I hope you are.
Here is my two cents worth of experience about Capri: I have not been there since I was 16 (32 years ago :sad1: )but I will never forgot how sick I got on the boat ride over to Capri. My family has had a boat most of my life, and I was never sea sick, but I was sick from about 15min in until the boat docked. It probably was just a coinsidence, but it was a beautiful day ( the sea should not have been rough). We spent the day at a beach, but I do remember thinking, the beach was not outstanding. But , keep in mind my memory is somewhat shot!:upsidedow

Hey all!!! Tomorrow is my day to figure out for sure what we are doing. If I don't get what I want on Sunday, I will then pick some back - up plans.........either way.....we are ALMOST HOME............

When I put my first choices in my wish list, they were automatically added to the other cabin with my kids - exactly the same. I also added a spa treatment on my wish list and it was also automatically added to my sons' cabin which of course they will not be doing. this was all done under my cruise plans I believe.

Question - on Sunday - do I go back to my cruise plans and book from here? Our last cruise, I think Wendy reserved all of our excursions and the first two cruises we booked on the ship. Feel free to list the steps ;)

What about the spa? It is on my wish list. But did not ask for any specific day/date or time - I am sure this option will show up on Sunday?

Hey all - doing some last minute research and my stomach is all tied up in knots - getting difficult to breathe too! I think that we're going to try and do VIP in Rome -- and send the other 1/2 of our party on the Illumanti tour - the general consensus seems to be to do private - might not be such a bad idea as we are a party of 6.

I was going to book about 3 weeks ago but the DCL agent told me that I might run into problems if I booked the private and then I wanted to do some others - that I'd have to cancel the ones I have and then try and rebook - on the other hand - I got our 14 yr old in our cabin now - so guess which cabin will be trying to get booked first? As long as I get the one I want in Rome I'll be happy - (well - ok - that's what I'm saying now :rotfl2: )

Anyway, nerves are attacking now - must breathe slowly! :scared1: LOL

Hey Andrew - want to hook another van up with yours? :lmao: We can try and sell them on a large group rate - LOL - just kidding - I'm just nervous. Have my 1st choices down but narrowing down the 2nd and 3rd choices

I wish you all the best, do not worry, its only a cruise, only one day to go now, VAN wise mine is full but if anyone has problems tommorrow I can give you the contacts by e.mail and you can directly e.mail the companies I am sure they will try to accomodate.

Yes we went on the Jet-foil is only a small trip but not so nice, in my opinion, I found Capri small, I felt a little trapped at the top you walk one way its the sea, a few yards the other there is the sea.

Most of the buildings were modern like, unlike Amalfi, I am trying to remember if we went to the gardens we saw so many in Italy. I do remeber Gracie Fields home.

I idnt see the blue grotto, as i have seem many simular in Greace and Spain.

Pompeii is great it really gives you a good feel for how it was, with the Volcano in the background its spooky, knowing what it did.

Sorrento is beautiful and Amalfi fantastic, maybe they just out-do Capri in my opinion.

Go to my cruise plans and there is four sub sections for trips/palos Spa and kids club, all will open up.

Good Morning Everyone:upsidedow
I spotted a "tween thread" on another med. cruise thread- should I set one up for our kids going on our july 28th week? If anyone thinks its a good idea, I will need to know how::flower1:
Maybe we need to have buttons made up so we will know who we all are - I think we have a button machine in my school, maybe I can make them up if you all want- if so, tell me what to put on them.... or.....
we can all wear those plastic glasses with the mustache attached:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
